Things shifted in a different direction this episode with a brand-new mission, bringing plenty of high-stakes, gritty action. The dangerous visual atmosphere looked really cool, though it certainly featured its fair share of weird, surreal moments. A solid, intense entry overall!
High-octane corporate tech-parody visuals dominate this experimental chapter. The visual style shifts hilariously to flat, geometric lines and computerized blueprint diagrams as Kazuma introduces his new monster-hunting invention. The absolute absurdity of capitalizing on monster genocide is captured beautifully through cold, sterile graphics.
Focusing on a side character this time, the plot progressed well, but the main character's moment was to highlight an adult scene which isn't suitable for kids at all. The graphics were bad, but the plot saved this episode.
