Synopsis
Don't let the blank stare and average grades fool you: Kiyotaka Ayanokouji is probably the most dangerous student in his school, and you'd never guess it by looking at him. He sits in the back of class, keeps his grades deliberately average, and avoids attention like it's a disease. That's what makes Classroom of the Elite so compelling: you're watching someone play chess while everyone else thinks they're playing checkers. This third season drops the students of Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School into a Mixed Training Camp in the mountains, where classes and grades get shuffled together into co-ed groups. The catch: the leader of the worst-performing group gets expelled. No appeals, no second chances. So now every conversation is a potential trap, every alliance is temporary, and Ayanokouji has to decide how much of his hand to reveal. The vibe here is tense and cerebral, less about action and more about watching people outmaneuver each other in real time. Horikita is growing into a more capable leader, Kushida's mask keeps slipping, and the power dynamics between classes get messier with every episode. Lerche adapts the light novel across 13 episodes, and the pacing feels tighter than previous seasons. If you liked the gambling mind games in Kakegurui or the class-system tension in Assassination Classroom, this scratches a similar itch but with a colder, more grounded edge. The Fruit of Grisaia fans will recognize the protagonist archetype, someone whose calm exterior hides something far more unsettling underneath.

From the opening episode, the story is trying to shift its focus not entirely on MC class but also on upperclassmen class which give a fresh view on the character interaction. Overall a solid starting episode and it does well in building anticipation

Best conclusion. Hopefully for season 4. Ayanokouji wants to get more serious after this. Are you kidding me. It is already 3 seasons and he is still not serious, now next season will be serious. Very overpowered. The romance finally develops for Ayanokouji even though we do not know if it is real or just a tool. Overall 10/10
Heartwarming moment between Suzune and her brother. There is another target Ayanokouji needs to settle the score with first since her dad's subordinates have started taking over the school a bit. Slow pace and chill moment
Class A vs Class C fight moment. Super intense. Basketball, archery, exam, then finally a chess battle that took up a lot of screen time. The tension comes from simple games and at the end there is a twist. Ayanokouji is really perfect!
This episode mostly focuses on Hirata backstory and his character development. The strategy gets explained here but not much. Light pace with just a bit of info, so it feels heavy to watch but its still crucial.

I really enjoyed this episode. Seeing Hirata stand up when everyone was turning against Yamauchi was one of the highlights for me. It would've been easy for him to go along with the crowd, but he chose not to. At the same time, expecting everyone to just put up with Yamauchi's tantrums felt a bit childish as well. And Kushida... well, she's still putting on her usual act. Every time she appears, I keep wondering what she's really thinking. Rating: 9/10
Episode 5 present us one of the nice climax in this season. Its written well and dive into Ichinose past and characters really well
I liked how the contrasting vibe is grouped in this episode. Half of the episode is filled mostly with wholesome romance while the rest is filled with ever so high tension as the rumor intensifies. Together it create some sort of "Calm before the storm" vibe to which i like
This episode started to developing the issue which each character have to struggle with in a form of a rumor. It building anticipation and even have the reader wonder themself about wether the rumor is a truth or a lie.
This episode emphasize on many characters interaction between class which is a rare but nice sight. The episode also deliver character devlopment pretty well, especially on the premise of each student (which is supposedly rival between each other) are forced to work as a team
