📖 SYNOPSIS
Koudo Ikusei Senior High School presents itself as a paradise, offering students unparalleled freedom and advanced facilities. However, this idyllic facade conceals a harsh reality: the school operates on a meritocratic system, favoring only the most exceptional students. Kiyotaka Ayanokouji, due to a deliberate act of carelessness during his entrance exam, finds himself in D-class, the lowest and most disparaged tier. This class is where the school segregates its "inferior" students.
As Kiyotaka navigates the complexities of his new environment, he encounters Suzune Horikita, a sharp and independent classmate, and Kikyou Kushida, a seemingly friendly and popular girl. Together, they must confront the school's hidden power structures and the challenges of their assigned class. The series explores themes of social stratification, the illusion of equality, and the lengths individuals will go to achieve success within a system designed to judge and categorize them.
