As the Autumn season is almost over, most anime are approaching their end. It's definitely a sad thing for those who are enjoying the current season's anime, but on the other hand, it's also great news for anime watchers everywhere, as the upcoming season, Fall 2026, has prepared a lot of great anime for us.

In the previous post, I shared some of the must-watch titles of Fall 2026, but there's actually much more anime waiting for us to add to our watchlists. Therefore, in this post, I've listed out six interesting titles to share with everyone, and I hope these titles will help enhance your next anime journey.

The First Hype: Keroro

The first anime title I want to share with everyone in this post is the legendary Keroro (also known as Sgt. Frog). You didn't hear me wrong, yes, that legendary series you've likely come across before! If you're an anime watcher born around the 1980s or 1990s, the chances that you grew up hearing about or watching this iconic title are extremely high.

The story of Keroro is quite simple, basically, the five frog aliens, also known as The Keroro Platoon, are trying all kinds of plans and methods to conquer the Earth. The story may sound brutal, but this is a gag anime, so in the end, everything just fails.

Although Keroro is a world-famous title and you might be quite familiar with it, there is some information I want to share with everyone. This Keroro anime is not a continuation of the previous work, but a completely new reboot. The story is actually similar to the previous work, but the voice actors and the anime art style are different from the original.

This is important for everyone to notice, because if you are someone who is familiar with the previous work or have just watched it recently, then maybe you need to wait for a while before starting this Keroro; otherwise, you will watch almost the same story again. On the other hand, if you haven't watched this title and have always wanted to give it a try, this is exactly what you need. Because it has the current technique and the original story, this Keroro is the best choice to kick off your journey!

The Second Hype: The Vermilion Mask

After sharing Keroro, the second anime title I want to share is The Vermilion Mask, a Seinen work. Compared to the previous title, I think this is a title you might be hearing about for the first time, because to be honest, this is a title I'm not really familiar with.

From the information I've gathered, The Vermilion Mask is a dark mask-battle fantasy manga that follows the tragic journey of Peru d'Arrest, the main character. Peru had a beloved master, but he got controlled by his mask and killed the master and his nakamas. Peru is in despair over the sin he committed, but he tries to stand up and destroy all the masks around the world.

The Vermilion Mask is quite different from the Shounen works we're quite familiar with. Peru's journey is not about chasing dreams, not about friends or love, but it is all about atonement and self-forgiveness. I've watched the official PV, and as the brief plot suggests, this is an action anime.

Once again, although The Vermilion Mask has the vibe of Shounen, this is actually a Seinen work. It is important for everyone to notice because in the anime, there might be scenes that involve horror or even gore. If you are someone who dislikes those elements, you might need to wait for a while before starting, so you can check on it first. On the other hand, if you are someone who is interested in those elements and loves action, The Vermilion Mask is the one you need to put on your watchlist.

The Third Hype: So What's Wrong with Getting Reborn as a Goblin?

The third title I want to highlight is So What's Wrong with Getting Reborn as a Goblin? (known in Japanese as Tensei Goblin dakedo Shitsumon Aru?). Although the title is quite long and it does have the keyword Tensei, this is actually a manga-based anime, not a light novel-based anime.

The story of So What's Wrong with Getting Reborn as a Goblin? is not that complex; it basically follows a selfless 29-year-old salaryman named Akira Yagami who dies saving a child from oncoming traffic and reincarnates into a fantasy world as a goblin.

Normally, goblins in this world live for only about seven days, but Akira is quite similar to other Isekai main characters: he has a cheat skill that grants him a full human lifespan, giving him 80 years to make an impact. He then uses his past life's intelligence and adult perspective to build a whole new life.

Although So What's Wrong with Getting Reborn as a Goblin? is manga-based, not coming from a light novel, it does look quite similar to the Isekai works we are familiar with. This is not a bad thing, while those who aren't interested in Isekai may need to wait and decide again whether they should give it a try, if you are someone who loves Isekai, this should be added to your watchlist.

The Fourth Hype: Hotaru no Yomeiri

The next title I want to highlight is Hotaru no Yomeiri, also known as Firefly Wedding, a dark, suspenseful romance manga. Unlike the previous titles I shared in this post, Hotaru no Yomeiri is actually a shoujo title, a completely different style of anime compared with The Vermilion Mask and Keroro.

Compared to mainstream Shounen, Seinen, or comedy series, Shoujo titles don't always get as much immediate mainstream hype. However, the genre has been growing rapidly, delivering some incredible adaptations recently. For example, in the current Autumn season, The Ogre's Bride is actually an interesting anime, and it has told us that Shoujo actually has a lot of potential waiting for us to discover.

The story of Hotaru no Yomeiri is quite crazy yet beautiful, it is about a noblewoman with a weak heart who proposes marriage to the assassin sent to kill her. Kirigaya Satoko is the daughter of a powerful nobleman, while Goto Shinpei is a professional assassin, and after the proposal, he starts to show his twisted yandere side to Satoko.

Although Hotaru no Yomeiri is all about the love story between Satoko and Shinpei, the anime has been done in high quality based on the official PVs, and I think even for those who aren't interested in romance or Shoujo, this will be the title that will change your thoughts about it.

The Fifth Hype: The Seven Knights of the Marronnier Kingdom

The fifth title on my list is a truly unique entry: The Seven Knights of the Marronnier Kingdom (known in Japanese as Marronnier Oukoku no Shichinin no Kishi). Unlike historical series like Kingdom or A Witch's Life in Mongol, this isn't based on real-world history. Instead, it offers an enchanting blend of medieval fantasy, comedy, and romance.

To be honest, compared to other titles in this post, when I first saw the poster of this anime, I truly think that it is something we can look forward to. Currently, for better or worse, there are a lot of anime that look dark and crowded, but The Seven Knights of the Marronnier Kingdom is totally different, it looks spacious and bright.

Besides how it looks, The Seven Knights of the Marronnier Kingdom has an interesting plot that caught my attention too. It follows seven very different knight brothers sent as ambassadors to seven neighboring nations to foster peace and find their destined partners.

I've watched all the PVs of it, and all of them look absolutely beautiful. I think The Seven Knights of the Marronnier Kingdom is more into story and beautiful scenes, so if you are someone who enjoyed and loved Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, this is what you may want to add to your watchlist!

The Sixth Hype: Romelia Senki

The next title I want to highlight shares a similar fantasy setting with The Seven Knights of the Marronnier Kingdom: Romelia Senki (also known by its full title, Romelia War Chronicle: The Count's Daughter Rallies an Army in the Wake of Mankind's Victory). As you might have guessed from that expressive title, this is a Light Novel adaptation!

Romelia Senki is quite different from the light novel anime we're quite familiar with; it doesn't have any Tensei (reincarnation), harem, or even cheat skill elements, and the title is not that long, actually! It is a title that is able to easily stand out among all the light novel titles.

Although the Demon King is gone, his remaining allies and scattered demon forces still terrorize the land and enslave people. Romelia doesn't have time to rest; she uses her sharp mind and luck to intimidate local lords, secure money from merchants, negotiate with the church, and train ordinary soldiers, starting an amazing journey.

Romelia Senki is unique and different compared to other light novel anime. Even though currently I am not that interested in light novel anime, Romelia Senki is a title I am looking forward to and want to suggest to everyone. If you are someone who loves amazing journeys and light novel anime, you need to add this title to your watchlist!

Omake Hype: Dragon Ball Super: Beerus

These are the six titles I think you may be interested in and want to add to your watchlist. But before you leave, there is one omake title I think some of you may be interested in. It is Dragon Ball Super: Beerus.

There are reasons why I put this title as Omake. Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is not a new anime, but a remake of the previous Dragon Ball Super. Unlike Keroro, almost everything about Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is similar to the previous work, so it is not an anime I will suggest to everyone, but for Dragon Ball fans, you may not want to miss it.

Everything we are quite familiar with, for example, Beerus, Super Saiyan God, Super Saiyan Blue, or even the Golden Frieza, all of them will come back. Once Dragon Ball Super: Beerus airs, we will actually watch the same thing again, so if you are someone who has watched or rewatched Dragon Ball Super, to be honest, I don't think you need to watch Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, as you will watch the same story again.

But if you haven't watched Dragon Ball in a long time, or you are interested in this IP just due to the animation but haven't started your journey yet, I will suggest you add Dragon Ball Super: Beerus to your watchlist. Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will have a much stronger animation, so if you are new to Dragon Ball Super, the chances you will enjoy it will be very high.
