the gunpla factory panic is the funniest thing this show has done yet. Keroro flipping from conqueror to hostage in one sentence because no more Gundam models. that face he makes

so the king of terror slept through his own appointment and then gets told off by a kid with a magazine. the prophecy update is silly and I kind of like that it commits to being silly

*EDIT (Read this first) I will not change my previous score but damn the second episode was a complete shocker. If you're here thinking this is a remake of the 2004 anime 🤨, then tough luck. Consider this more of a return of the anime, with the usual antics, modern animation, and an entirely new voice cast. Did the new VAs do a good job? Well... hearing their chant felt a little off since it just doesn't compare to the original and I prefer the old voice of Kururu since it perfectly captures his character. Aside from that, the rest are doing fine and fit their roles pretty well. Was it a flashy return? Better watch the episode to see if it is 😉

Jumped straight into the slice of life without giving proper intro to the series. Felt lost despite being a familiar IP

Mois transformation scene was gorgeous but also weirdly blank. pretty animation and yet the doll look keeps pulling your eye. still rewatching it

I could not stop laughing at Mois falling asleep for 25 years because she ate too many snacks. Honestly the most Keroro reason to miss your own apocalypse

Humidity Keroro actually beating Natsumi and Tamama was not something I expected. the fight animation went way harder than it needed to. Maximum Humidity Keroro is a real threat now

I couldn't stop laughing at Keroro flipping on a dime the second Fuyuki brought up Gunpla factories. That man has his priorities completely sorted

Keroro actually being scary for a few minutes was not something I expected to see this early. The way he handled Natsumi made me sit up a little

count me among the folks who found the whole slept-through-1999 gag a bit much. it stretches the logic thin but Mois herself is charming enough that I stopped caring. her voice lands that spaced out gyaru thing perfectly

As hilarious as always. The voice is completely different compare to the previous, but it is still a great anime!

Wow, what an unexpected curveball this was! I even did some research before writing my first episode review, but it turned out I was wrong. It turns out that this anime is a remake of the 2004 series, with some modern additions. It's a good thing I still have the DVD because, I've got to say, they fixed the sequencing. The first episode of the 2004 series was rather chaotic. However, the pacing felt rather fast, as the ghost girl was introduced right away in what was supposedly the first episode of this remake. P.S. Compared to the 2004 series, the opening (OP) and ending (ED) themes of this remake don't quite measure up to Kero! to March, and Afro-Gunso remains an unbeatable ED
