Tensei Goblin dakedo Shitsumon Aru?
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Meet Akira Yagami — the kind of guy who always puts everyone else first — a pushover office worker whose habit of self-sacrifice finally gets him killed — he dives in front of a car to save a kid and wakes up in a fantasy world as a goblin. Not a cool, evolved, named-character goblin. A bottom-of-the-food-chain, cannon-fodder goblin with a biological expiration date of seven days. That's the hook that makes this one interesting. Most isekai give you all the time in the world to figure things out. Akira gets a week before his body just shuts down, so every decision carries real weight from the jump. The survival tension is constant — he's dodging predators, figuring out his cheat skills, and trying to crack the curse on his species' lifespan, all while stubbornly refusing to abandon the weaker goblins around him. It's that mix of ticking-clock urgency and genuine empathy that gives it a different feel from similar setups. If you liked the monster-POV progression of Re:Monster or the "reincarnated as the weakest creature" energy of So I'm a Spider, So What?, this is in that lane but with a much tighter survival framework. There's also a bit of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime in how Akira builds up a community around him, except the stakes here feel way more immediate. It's a seinen adaptation from a web manga, animated by Studio Bakkka, and it plays the zero-to-hero arc with a genuine sense of danger underneath.
