For most of his life, Haruka Sakura solved problems with his fists and not much else. Season one of Wind Breaker gave him something he never expected: people worth fighting for. Now, as the first-year grade captain of Furin High School's Bofurin crew, he's barely settled into the role before a new threat rolls in: KEEL, a delinquent gang that doesn't protect towns, it crushes them. Where Bofurin operates on loyalty and community, KEEL runs on fear and coercion, and the collision between the two groups is the backbone of this 12-episode second season. CloverWorks keeps the animation sharp and kinetic, with fight choreography that blends street brawling with something more deliberate, you can feel the weight behind every hit. The soundtrack stays locked in too, matching the energy without overdoing it. But what keeps things grounded is Sakura himself. He's still learning how to be around people, still figuring out what it means to lead, and the show doesn't rush that. If you liked Tokyo Revengers but wanted tighter pacing and less time travel, this scratches that itch. Fans of Crows or Beelzebub will recognize the delinquent DNA here: rival gangs, hierarchy fights, that whole world. The tone stays youthful and action-packed without losing the character work that made season one land. Worth your time if you're into this corner of anime.
