sakura is just really THE main character....

Episode Context

Wind Breaker Season 2 wastes zero time easing you back in. 'Rage' drops Sakura and the Bofurin first-years straight into a collision course with a dangerous new threat, and the episode runs hot from the jump. CloverWorks delivers the kind of explosive, kinetic fight choreography that defined the best moments of Season 1, now with raised stakes and a sharper edge. The tone is urgent and confrontational, there's real weight behind every punch thrown. Beyond the action, the episode threads in the group dynamics that make this series stick: Sakura's evolving sense of responsibility, Nirei's earnest energy, and Kaji's steady presence all get meaningful screen time. Themes of loyalty under pressure and what it actually costs to protect people you care about anchor the spectacle. A premiere that hits hard and sets a clear trajectory.
