I loved this. The storyline, the build up and the themes covered. It can easily become a comfort show - it's that good.

What an intense but well rounded finale! Everything comes full circle and we see Kuro come face to face with his past and how his actions may have lead to this very moment. The a great balance of dialouge and action. I loved the visuals and it flowed from each scene. Just beautiful stuff.

Now this is what I'm talking about! This was an action-filled episode, with most of the Servamps and Eves showcasing their powers. I loved how the scenes moved so seamlessly from one to another. Now this is what you call cinema!!I enjoyed every bit of this one

This was an average watch. Lawless backstory for me was not strong, compared to the other spotlight episodes. Nothing was captivating, I wish there could've been more but sadly it just didn't do it for me.

What an intense episode. Filled with so many emotions and I think it highlights how similar Mahiru and Kuro are- they both have the same fears and regret and I guess that's what makes them the ideal pair.

I loved the suspense that came with certain scenes. I also loved the attention to sound design and the absence of sound in some moments, which really helped build the tension. The dialogue in this episode was a bit of an overkill for me, there was too much talking, and at times it felt like rambling. However, there were still moments that pulled me in and made me want to see what happens next.

Ohhh I like what the writers did here with that internal dialogue that Mahiru was having with himself. To actually hear his conflicting thoughts overlap like that really showed the seriousness of the situation. This episode was intense in all the right ways.

This was actually a very strong finale, that one last big confrontation was intense! The pacing here is just perfect, it was well balanced with that intense final battle and a calm and reflective aftermath. The animation here was fantastic, I can really feel the weight during the fight. The villain was also written very well, he was not just some villain but he is THE villain.

They are finally back at it again with the action stuff after those personal episodes. The pacing picks up here, moving between several short confrontations. The action scenes here are visually appealing and dynamic. The writing also managed to mend a damaged relationship which was actually very satisfying. Even the music here was so good, it adds onto the intensity of the battle scenes and is able to match this episode's fast pacing.

I really love that this is a spotlight episode onto why he acts that way. The pacing does a good job giving some room to a tragic backstory without losing track of the present situation. The writing here has a tender feel to it, it handles love and loss with such care. I can really feel the emotional impact here, especially once I understood what was lost and why it still hurts.

This episode was really emotionally heavy. I do appreciate the patient pacing here, it lets the painful past simmer which adds more onto that emotional impact. The memory sequences here felt hazy though, it has a unique dreamlike visual quality which is perfect for the tone of this episode. I can really feel all the emotions in this episode, I can feel the weight of the guilt, regret, and reassurance here.

Wow this was quite a deep episode huh, it has both an internal journey and an external rescue mission. Even though there were two stories here, the pacing juggles them fairly well. I also like how the writing dug more into Kuro's mindset more than what a dialogue scene can do. I can feel like we are coming close and closer to a difficult turning point.

I like how this show doesn't forget their characters and it really shows in this episode as it focused on Kuro's troubled history. I can really feel the tension building up as the story progresses. I can also notice Kuro's strange behaviors in some rather small visual cues, which makes his story so interesting and full of mystery.

This episode is beautifully curated. We are learning more about Kuro, who is a layered character that has a relationship with his siblings. I enjoyed the visuals in this one, it carried so much emotion, from the wind in the rooftop scene to Licht performance. Beautiful.

This was quite a flashy episode. The pacing here builds nicely from a tense first meeting into a chaotic confrontation by the end. I also like the concert setting here, it has such dramatic lighting and adds a theatrical visual style. The chaos during the concert was also so intense, it raised the stakes in this episode and made it really fun and thrilling to watch.

I like it how Mahiru gets further out of his comfort zone in this ep. The plot moves quickly here, it packs up a festival encounter, then introduced a new character, and a capture and escape, all in one episode! This was a very fun episode there is a lot of things going on but each scene doesn't feel too rushed.

I liked how this episode was more character focused, it really explains why our antagonist ended up the way he is. The pacing here was also perfectly balanced between Kuro's struggles and the antagonist's backstory without it feeling rushed. I liked that the writing here also handles that difficult backstory with real care and it gives off real motivation.

Wow this episode really digs onto the cost of Mahiru's choices so far. The pacing was also perfect, it slows down just enough to let the emotional weight of the friendship sink in before the action picks the pacing back up. Visually speaking, the scenes between Mahiru and his friend puts framing onto good use, it focuses more on their expressions which I really appreciate.

I really like how this episode widens the show's world. It was interesting to see a bigger threat and more rules in this vampire conflict. The pacing here was good, new information wasn't dumped all at once and was easy to follow. The dialogue also added to the good information drop as it feels more like a natural conversation rather than an infodump or a lecture.

Oh wow, I thought this was just some slice of life school comedy but the ending surprised me. I like how this ep takes its time on Mahiru's ordinary school life before diving into that supernatural plot. I like the character designs here, they are clean and expressive. The dialogue was also well balanced between humor and tension.
