Wow this episode really digs onto the cost of Mahiru's choices so far. The pacing was also perfect, it slows down just enough to let the emotional weight of the friendship sink in before the action picks the pacing back up. Visually speaking, the scenes between Mahiru and his friend puts framing onto good use, it focuses more on their expressions which I really appreciate.

Look, I loved everything about this episode. The only thing I wish there was more of, is technique in the fighting; it's really lacking in that department. Other than that, oh boy, I loved seeing Mahuri's internal conflict. It really showed us his persona. Moreover, I knew something was off with Sakuya, BUT what he did here?! the ultimate betrayal! He has truly given life to the saying "you become what you hate,"

This episode feels so packed with action! Love that Mahiru tries to move forward in his new path and even manages to keep up with his school on top of it all. The rollercoaster of emotions he experiences all feels grounded, too. I love the pacing so far, but I do worry a little that they're trying to pack a lot in this early. Still very enjoyable, though!
