Amazing craft of the sequence of events, nice transition, and it's even more mysterious and interesting now. What just happened really, Subaru? He have many names. I love this ep, because its confusing for me but still interesting, I love how Julius accept everything and carry out his job. The animation are great as ever, their expressions are awesome as well, the changes of personality is great. the cliffhanger is even more amazing. I don't need sleep I need answers lol, that moment.
Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Death has become routine for Subaru Natsuki, who has died more times than he can count, with every reset chipping away at him a little more. If you've been following Re:Zero, you already know this isn't your typical isekai power fantasy — it's closer to a psychological horror story wearing fantasy clothes. Season 4 picks up after the brutal events at Priestella, where Subaru's group technically won but lost a lot in the process. Rem is still in a coma, Crusch's memories are gone, and Julius has had his very name eaten by the Authority of Gluttony. To find answers, Subaru and his allies head for the Pleiades Watchtower, deep in the desert wastes of Garkla, searching for a mysterious wise man named Shaula who supposedly knows everything. The journey itself is dangerous, and the tower promises to be worse. White Fox is back at the helm for this TV series airing in 2026, adapting the next arc from the light novels. The tone stays heavy — this is a show where Subaru's biggest enemy has always been the weight of his own choices and trauma, and that only deepens here. If you liked the time-loop anguish of Steins;Gate or wanted The Rising of the Shield Hero to go harder on the psychological side, Re:Zero has been doing that thing for years now. Season 4 looks like it's not letting up.

Quick Takes
View all 314 takesLol, i love the synergy between Subaru and Julius. They are really like a bro that support each other. Anw the pacing in this episode is kinda slow, maybe many ppl are boring about a lot of conversation. But this episode kindly important about their situation. So you really need to take a note on this episode.
Just when I thought Subaru and Julius were in good terms again, somehow the whole "Anastasia" situation made everything worse. Nevertheless, that scene was great. I could feel the tension despite it mostly just a conversation between “Anastasia,” Julius, and Subaru.
But not gonna lie, I’m still confused about the twist at the end. What exactly Subaru plan to defeat Reid?
