I can't believe Kisame actually went out like that and letting those sharks eat him was the most metal way to go in this entire show

Kisame actually choosing to go out by his own sharks, just to protect info from Guy, was genuinely shocking, and I couldn't help but feel a messed up sort of respect for his commitment. His whole internal monologue about Itachi's words, it just cemented for me that he truly lived and died by his own warped code, no matter how wild it seemed.

When I saw that first meeting with Itachi, it honestly blew me away; their whole partnership suddenly felt like it had this unspoken history, making them way more than just some randos in Akatsuki cloaks.

I always thought of him as a total monster, but watching him summon those sharks on himself to keep Aoba from getting into his head was genuinely shocking. It made me realize just how committed he was, and how far he'd go to protect whatever secrets he had; that's not just mindless, you know?

That Mist ninja’s backstory made me realize just how much he’d been treated like a tool, and my stomach twisted seeing him finally find something that genuinely mattered. It’s pretty chilling to consider how many other shinobi in the Hidden Mist might have suffered that exact same fate without ever getting to choose their own way.

I actually got a little misty-eyed when Guy finally remembered Kisame's name, especially because it was only *after* Kisame's incredibly noble and defiant death. It just really shows me how much Guy respects a truly strong warrior, even if they're enemies, and I think that moment felt genuinely significant for him.

I really didn't expect to feel bad for Kisame, the shark guy, but his backstory seriously clicked for me, showing why he was always so obsessive about loyalty. Watching him choose to essentially self-destruct just to protect Tobi's plan was such a wild, tragic end, and I think Might Guy promising to remember him gave his lonely life some real meaning.

When I heard Itachi's words about not knowing your true self until the very end, it really got me thinking, especially right as Kisame was letting his own sharks devour him; I wonder if he finally understood himself in those final moments, or if he just wanted to protect the Akatsuki's secrets above all else.

I seriously thought Guy was gonna pull his usual gag about forgetting someone's name, you know? But when he just looked at me like that, with so much genuine respect, it honestly kind of caught me off guard and made me realize how much he truly values his comrades.

Itachi really nailed it when he talked about people, huh? I mean, seeing Kisame go out like that, willingly getting eaten by his own sharks just to keep the Akatsuki's secrets safe, it makes you wonder if there was more to his loyalty than just being a monster. It was a pretty wild and shocking end for him.

Wow, learning about Kisame's brutal past in the Hidden Mist really makes me rethink everything about him; no wonder he was so obsessed with finding something genuine, it's like he was desperate for a world that wasn't built on lies and deception. It just hits different now, seeing his suicide not as a villain's end but as a final, desperate act to preserve his own truth, and man, that's heavy.

Dude, Guy's Daytime Tiger was absolutely incredible, I honestly didn't think he had that kind of power left, but watching him push himself so far against Kisame just reminded me how much he'll sacrifice for his friends. It really makes me wonder how much more he can endure after going all out like that.

I was absolutely shocked when Kisame bit his own tongue off, like, that's some serious dedication to not spilling secrets. But then he chose to get eaten by his own sharks instead of being captured, and it really made me think about his twisted pride and loyalty to Akatsuki, not just that he's some monster.

Kisame's whole deal finally clicked for me after seeing his past; I mean, having to murder his own friends just to keep the Hidden Mist safe really paints a picture of why he'd throw in with Obito, and my jaw just dropped when he sacrificed himself to the sharks, but honestly, it made me see him as a real shinobi for staying true to his convictions until his last breath.

Watching Guy go Seventh Gate and land that Daytime Tiger was absolutely nuts, I mean, pure physical force with no chakra involved? That blew my mind. Kisame really didn't stand a ghost of a chance once Guy went all out like that, which kinda made me wonder if Kisame had ever faced anything quite so raw and powerful before.

Kisame's final moments, choosing his own death to protect intel, genuinely stunned me. Seeing him recall Itachi's philosophy made me question everything I thought about him, proving he truly believed in his own path and not just being the 'Monster of the Hidden Mist'. It made me wonder if he was always this dedicated, just to a different, like, a different ideal.

Okay, after that flashback, I totally get why Kisame was so loyal to Itachi; it wasn't just about their missions, but because Itachi actually saw him and made him think about who he truly was. I never expected that kind of genuine understanding to be at the core of their scary duo, but it makes so much sense now.

I was genuinely shocked by how Kisame went out, choosing to be devoured by his own sharks rather than give up information; it made me wonder how deep his loyalty to Akatsuki truly ran, like he'd rather die than betray them. That's a pretty grim way to go, but it kinda fit his whole vibe, didn't it?

Kisame's final act, forcing himself to die rather than betray Madara's secrets, genuinely blew my mind. I didn't expect such unwavering, almost fanatical devotion, and it makes me question what kind of warped ideal he clung to so desperately, right up until the very end.

Guy finally remembering Kisame's name at the very end felt like such a poignant touch, and honestly, I found myself unexpectedly moved, especially thinking about Kisame's fierce loyalty to his own ideals; it felt like Guy truly acknowledged him as a formidable shinobi. It was a dark, almost reverent end for a character who, despite everything, genuinely earned that final moment of respect before his self-sacrificing death.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Directly following the explosive Guy vs. Kisame confrontation in Episode 250, this episode pivots from brute-force battle to deep character excavation, exploring the motivations behind one of the Akatsuki's most dangerous operatives. It serves as a critical emotional beat within the early stages of the Fourth Shinobi World War arc, enriching the conflict by grounding an antagonist in genuine pathos. The insights gained here add weight to the escalating war and set the stage for the larger alliance-driven storylines ahead.
