This was a great episode that really makes you look forward to the next season. Some wholesome and tense moments, and it was more dialogue-driven since it was setting up something bigger. But seeing Izuku with Class 1-A acting like normal teenagers, even just for a while, felt like a breather before throwing us back into the chaos.

Synopsis
After five long seasons of holding the line, the heroes finally go on the offensive — and it costs them everything. That's the setup for My Hero Academia Season 6, where the Hero Association launches a massive coordinated strike against the Paranormal Liberation Front — a supervillain army thousands deep, led by Tomura Shigaraki, who's been quietly powering up offscreen. Hawks, the double agent embedded in the villains' ranks, has gathered enough intel to greenlight the raid, and from there the whole season becomes one extended war arc that reshapes the entire series. Characters you've watched grow for five seasons face real consequences. The stakes aren't theoretical anymore — people get hurt, alliances fracture, and Deku's journey takes a much darker, lonelier turn than anything before it. Studio Bones brings their A-game to the animation, especially during the large-scale battles where dozens of quirks clash simultaneously. The soundtrack carries a weight that matches the shift in tone. This isn't the bright school comedy from Season 1. If you liked the Marineford arc in One Piece — where the whole world changes in a single battle — this hits a similar nerve. And if you enjoyed the escalation in shows like One Punch Man or Mob Psycho 100, where the power ceiling keeps rising and the emotional stakes rise with it, Season 6 delivers that in spades. It's 25 episodes of consequences catching up to everyone, heroes and villains alike.

Quick Takes
View all 345 takesWell, at least this finale looks promising. Nothing that made me cry anymore, but it really built anticipation for the next season. I’m so excited! Anyway, can I talk about Tsukauchi? 😭 That man looked like he hadn’t slept for a month and aged ten years.
Goosebumps moment. I knew it was going to happen, but seeing Stain and All Might’s encounter was still chilling. Stain is such a complex character, which makes him even more interesting. Anyway, I loved this episode. Reallyyyy excited for the next season!
