So, is Mr. Compress the Robin Hood? Or his great-great-grandfather? Lol. This episode really left me hanging after shaking me up like that. But the progression was so fluid that everything still felt right and never lacking.

This is becoming more unpredictable, and I’m loving it so far. This episode ended on something bittersweet and honestly felt like a hard pill to swallow. I really felt Midoriya’s emotions here. Cuz, man, me too. 🥹

I love how the balance keeps tilting on both sides and never really settles. At least not yet. The pieces still aren’t falling into their rightful places, but I still love the progression, the high stakes, and the tense atmosphere in this episode.

Episode Context

Sitting just past the midpoint of Season 6's 25 episodes, this installment follows 'Threads of Hope,' where the heroes momentarily seized momentum in the war, 'Final Performance' deliberately inverts that perspective by centering the villains' desperate counterplay. It serves as a pivotal transition point, closing out the most chaotic phase of the conflict and laying critical groundwork for the emotional and political fallout that defines the season's back half.
