Touya’s past was definitely heartbreaking. He really got the bad side of being the eldest in a Quirk Marriage. Plus, adding a terrible father into the mix? Yeah. Anyway, this episode felt a bit slow since it was more dialogue-driven, but it still had enough impact to keep things interesting.

Toya is definitely Endeavor’s son with how obsessive and crazy he became. I can’t even sympathize with Endeavor, no matter how I look at it from different angles. Anyway, this episode feels like a turning point for this family, and I really wanna see them finally be happy.

Now, I kinda understand why everyone loves Hawks. This dude was amazing. I love his character so much, and with Best Jeanist in the mix? Dang, they looked unstoppable. We’re finally getting some damage control. Let’s gooo!

Episode Context

Arriving past the season's midpoint at episode 17 of 25, this follows the devastating fallout of Dabi's public revelation of his true identity and his condemnation of Endeavor, which shattered both the Todoroki family and public trust in hero society. This introspective episode provides essential backstory and emotional grounding before the narrative pivots toward how the family, and hero society at large, will attempt to rebuild and confront the threats still looming ahead.
