This was definitely a build-up episode. It felt like the vibe of trying to get back up again after a devastating loss. Midoriya’s aura here felt SO different. I don’t even know if it’s a good thing because this honestly feels a little sad 🥹

Wait, this is interesting. Like, Midoriya looked so different here. I kinda feel bad for him and impressed at the same time. Impressed because he looked so mature, and sad because he had to mature. 🥺🥺 This was a calmer episode, but it felt a little heartbreaking.

This episode felt like a warm-up for the final act. It was kinda lonely, though. The way I cried for Izuku’s mom 😭 That was such an emotional moment, and it was delivered so well that it really hits hard.

Episode Context

Positioned at episode 19 of 25, this lands squarely in Season 6's post-war fallout arc, following the devastating confrontation between Midoriya and Shigaraki that fractured hero society. This episode marks a pivotal shift as Deku embarks on a solo vigilante path, proactively hunting threats rather than responding to them. It sets the stage for the 'Hired Gun' arc that follows, building momentum toward the season's final stretch.
