The start of the Dark Hero Arc. Deku looks like a literal demon and the vibe is so gritty and cool. [SPOILER] Seeing him handle old threats with zero effort is a massive flex. The community was hyped for the solo grind. The animation is sharp and punchy.

The rain made the atmosphere even gloomier, setting up a lonely mood. I liked how they made the streets dim showing that these are dark times. What Deku left behind was brief but made me emotional. This made me feel sad as we see the boy we knew and loved leave everything behind.

Hope begins to slowly return as emotions run high and trust is tested. Uraraka’s speech hits hard, showing the human side of hero society and why Deku isn’t alone. It’s heartfelt, grounded, and feels like a turning point toward rebuilding.

Deku literally min-maxes OFA. His mastery of the quirk, even without full power, is insane, cementing him as the greatest OFA user. The character development as he edges into full dark mode is also a compelling change.

This episode should have been titled ’Can Izuku do it all?’. This sixteen year old really is taking the lead in operations now, Endeavor the kid is coming for your job. That aside, Best Jeanist is still the coolest poser and Deku’s new costume is so good!
