This was definitely a build-up episode. It felt like the vibe of trying to get back up again after a devastating loss. Midoriya’s aura here felt SO different. I don’t even know if it’s a good thing because this honestly feels a little sad 🥹

Wait, this is interesting. Like, Midoriya looked so different here. I kinda feel bad for him and impressed at the same time. Impressed because he looked so mature, and sad because he had to mature. 🥺🥺 This was a calmer episode, but it felt a little heartbreaking.

This episode felt like a warm-up for the final act. It was kinda lonely, though. The way I cried for Izuku’s mom 😭 That was such an emotional moment, and it was delivered so well that it really hits hard.

Welp! I did not expect to see that scene. It was epic, intense, and darker. It feels like entering a new era and changing everything. I can't help but to feel sad seeing Deku.

Dark Hero arc begins IMMEDIATELY. The multi-quirk usage is so cool to watch he's finally starting to look like the successor he was meant to be. Pacing is fast and it feels fresh after the post-war slowdown. Deku fans waited for this. <3

Okay THIS one pops off again. The action surges back hard and the animation flexes. It feels like a reminder that the chaos isn’t over yet.

Back to intense action, but with clear signs of exhaustion on both sides. You can tell nobody can keep this pace forever. Super high-energy and stressful. MUST WATCH.

Bakugo stepping up felt real. No screaming match, just honesty. It’s awkward, emotional, and overdue. You can see how much he’s grown without them spelling it out. 🔥

Heroes face multiple enemy waves simultaneously think multi-target AoE + staggered mechanics. Team coordination and quirk timing dictate surviva

The start of the Dark Hero Arc. Deku looks like a literal demon and the vibe is so gritty and cool. [SPOILER] Seeing him handle old threats with zero effort is a massive flex. The community was hyped for the solo grind. The animation is sharp and punchy.

The rain made the atmosphere even gloomier, setting up a lonely mood. I liked how they made the streets dim showing that these are dark times. What Deku left behind was brief but made me emotional. This made me feel sad as we see the boy we knew and loved leave everything behind.

Hope begins to slowly return as emotions run high and trust is tested. Uraraka’s speech hits hard, showing the human side of hero society and why Deku isn’t alone. It’s heartfelt, grounded, and feels like a turning point toward rebuilding.

Deku literally min-maxes OFA. His mastery of the quirk, even without full power, is insane, cementing him as the greatest OFA user. The character development as he edges into full dark mode is also a compelling change.

This episode should have been titled ’Can Izuku do it all?’. This sixteen year old really is taking the lead in operations now, Endeavor the kid is coming for your job. That aside, Best Jeanist is still the coolest poser and Deku’s new costume is so good!

EPISODE CONTEXT

Positioned at episode 19 of 25, this lands squarely in Season 6's post-war fallout arc, following the devastating confrontation between Midoriya and Shigaraki that fractured hero society. This episode marks a pivotal shift as Deku embarks on a solo vigilante path, proactively hunting threats rather than responding to them. It sets the stage for the 'Hired Gun' arc that follows, building momentum toward the season's final stretch.
