Minami-ke Okaeri

Misunderstandings among siblings is inevitable even between the closest of siblings. It would seem from all her blustering Chiaki does in fact care deeply about her older sister Kana. Seems like Kana had a similar experience with Haruka later though it was played up for laughs (the scene was both funny and sweet).

The opening is a perfect display of older siblings taking things too far just to make a statement even if it means they'll miss out on tasty treats. I guess it has something to do with principles. The lighting they used made for some dynamic shots, and made the characters look serious for the most outlandish parts. I loved every minute of it. Rare to see the match up of Kana, Maki, and Uchida, but when they do meet, it's never a dull moment. Later on that day the two younger sisters make there own mayhem while Haruka is out. I see a noticeable improvement in the quality of the art, and the animation is as nice as every. The characters look crisp, straight out of the press!

Oh Fujioka, by now you should see how oblivious Kana is when it comes to love. Help her out a little will you! Even the Fujioka stand in was captivated by Kana's beauty, that girl withe the disappearing mole has no chance, though luck.

Remember to be mindful, and polite when asking for things from others or Chiaki will make you suffer. Didn't know Chiaki could be so demanding. The entire fiasco with Touma was terribly hilarious the only one he spoke to was Haruka, she kept a straight face through all ot it, only breaking the facade once in awhile.

Winter is here, funny I remember Okawari taking place mostly in winter. Instead Okaeri's first episode started in summer. Interesting but summer didn't last long. With a short Autumn, Winter is here and with it so is Christmas. The premise is sweet, yet oddly hilarious, you won't be able to turn away! A fun little episode showing you it's better to give than to receive!

First time Kana and Atsuko interacted with each other, and Kana had to throw her under the bus. Perfect comedic timing felt sorry for her, but it was pretty funny. I had a smile the entire time watching this, very entertaining. Kana just be screwing with people, nice to see her get her comeuppance. It seems Hosaka has a bit of an admirer even if they only admire him when he keeps his mouth shut.

Even when he's doing his best Makoto is still catching strays. Though, Makoto all the hardships you endured have finally paid off, you're able to see heaven even for a brief moment, lucky. Kana can be so precious at times, she did the exact opposite of what Chiaki said she'd do.

I am digging the unique layout of each episode. It seems the entire season will follow this formula. The opening scene was cute I liked the bit found its way back to Kana. The post ending scene was the best story by far. I like the art style in this one, but I do feel nostalgic for Chiaki's sentient hair always moving when something peaks her interest. I haven't seen it move to be honest, perhaps it will make an appearance like Makoto.

Can't they cut some slack for my guy Makoto. Chiaki got what she deserved for being extra for no reason. Her sister Kana, bless her heart did her best to understand the feelings of others. They both seem to have shoot themselves in the foot proverbially speaking. Great episode showcasing the differences, and well similarities of the two younger sisters.

Poor Touma, if Kana wasn't Chiaki's sister she wouldn't have to deal with all her shenanigans. Kana singlehandedly undermined Touma's brothers good intentions. I see the other Minami family is taking center stage or at least having a more significant role in Okaeri, compared to just being represented by Touma in Okawari. The new girl (didn't catch her name) on the scene knows Natsuki well. Too bad he's got eyes for another. My man Hosaka can't catch a break, but he that will never get him down, he's optimistic I like that about him.

Episode terakhir ini tidak ada sama sekali memunculkan klimaks besar tetapi tetap menampilkan style cerita sketsa ala anime minami ke. Tempo yg slow dan nyaman, Justru karena tidak terburu-buru, episode terasa seperti mengajak penonton menghabiskan satu hari lagi bersama keluarga Minami sebelum musim berakhir.

Banyak perpaduan komedi yg terjadi di episode ini yaitu Slapstick, Nostalgia dan humor keluarga. Episode mengandalkan ekspresi panik Kana dan wajah datar Chiaki sebagai sumber humor utama. Tetapi jujur menonton episode ini sangat terasa kehangatan dalam rumah minami.

Wahh kali ini ada 4 segmen cerita yg berbeda tetapi meskipun begitu transisi antarsegmen terasa sangat alami berkat pembawaan cerita yg santai dan tidak terburu-buru. Masing-masing segmen mempunyai punchline yg kuat. Kembali ekspresi di anime ini menjadi nilai tambah di episode ini

Cerita kali ini lebih banyak memberikan ruang bagi character development Touma dan Chiaki. Style ala sketsa dan terbagi beberapa segmen ini tetap membawa pelajaran kecil yang membuat episode terasa lebih bermakna tanpa kehilangan humor khas Minami-ke. Adegan hujan juga diberi pencahayaan yang lebih smooth sehingga memperkuat suasana hangat ketika Touma diterima di rumah Minami.

Suasana yg saya suka karena ini tentang kebersamaan dengan event natal. Ritme dimulai dari komedi ringan tentang jeruk, kemudian beralih ke suasana hangat Natal, dan ditutup dengan pesta keluarga yang menenangkan. Transisi antar segmen terasa mulus sehingga episode tetap menghibur tanpa kehilangan nuansa slice of life.

Visual pada episode ini kembali memainkan ekspresi wajah dan bahasa tubuh yg unik secara lucu. Tempo di episode ini lebih cepat dibanding episode sebelumnya dan kembali terdiri dari beberapa sketsa pendek yg semua nya terhubung dengan teori aneh kana LOL. Tidak ada adegan yang terasa bertele-tele karena setiap sketsa ditutup dengan punchline sebelum berpindah ke cerita berikutnya.

Lagi lagi setiap masalah yg seharusnya bisa diselesaikan malah menjadi rumit akibat cara berpikir genius kana dan chiaki LOL. Pola komedi pada episode ini meningkat nya secara perlahan yg membuat episode ini menarik. Ekspresi panik Kana, wajah datar Chiaki, serta gestur kikuk Makoto menjadi kekuatan utama episode ini.

Episode kali ini beberapa cerita pendek yang mempunyai satu kesamaan yaitu hal hal aneh selalu terjadi karena pemikiran kana yang absurd dan tidak biasa. Di episode ini memberi waktu bagi setiap karakter untuk menunjukkan kepribadiannya sehingga humor terasa lebih organik daripada dipaksakan. Banyak punchline berhasil karena perubahan ekspresi yang halus, bukan gerakan besar.

Hahaha ini episode yg lucu karena ini tentang salah satu pelajaran yaitu berenang. Fokus kali ini ke chiaki melawan ketakutan nya dan banyak hal yg lucu dan dia memiliki banyak alasan. Komedi muncul dari rangkaian kesalahpahaman yang saling berkaitan, bukan dari lelucon yang berdiri sendiri.

Kali ini membahas tentang hadiah dan hubungan antar saudara. Ritmenya tetap ringan, tetapi setiap bagian tetap memiliki punchline yang kuat sehingga tidak terasa berulang. Adegan ketika setiap karakter saling menatap tanpa berbicara menjadi cara penggunaan yang efektif untuk menghasilkan humor
