A fitting end to the season. Kana's New Year rehearsal chaos is exactly what you expect from her and Hosaka's subplot wraps the episode on a perfectly absurd note. Good season overall.
The Christmas episode. Toma's brothers and Fujioka all converge and the result is entertaining. Fujioka and Chiaki's moment at the end is unexpectedly sweet.
Chiaki choosing a brother figure from her classmates is one of the more unique premises of the season. Toma gets introduced properly here and fits into the cast well.
Kana being sick is a surprisingly sweet episode. Chiaki looking after her without admitting she cares is a nice small character moment. The school uniform measuring scene is funny.
Another summer flashback episode. Lighter than usual but the girls are fun enough to carry it. Hosaka's cooking subplot running in the background is quietly hilarious.
Kana's self defense lesson is peak Kana energy. The cousin visit shakes up the household dynamic in an entertaining way. One of the more enjoyable episodes of the season.
A solid character episode. Learning more about Haruka's school reputation through Kana's reaction is one of the funnier reveals of the season so far. The pace is comfortable as always.
Chiaki inviting classmates over makes for a chaotic home episode. Mako's situation continues to get more complicated and funnier each time. Good episode.
Beach episode. Nothing too heavy but the girls bouncing off each other in a different setting works well. A fun detour from the usual home and school routine.
Hosaka gets introduced and he is immediately his own category of funny. The episode has a good mix of school and home scenes and keeps things light throughout.
Fujioka enters the picture and the Kana dynamic around him is genuinely funny. The episode moves at a good pace and Mako's visit adds an extra layer of chaos to the household.
Chiaki's nickname habit at school is the highlight here. The comedy is dry and the character personalities are starting to settle in well. Comfortable viewing.
A relaxed introduction to the three sisters. The dynamic between Kana and Chiaki is immediately entertaining and Haruka holds everything together nicely. Simple and easy to watch.

Hosaka finally snapped, it must have been the cold weather. I noticed something Keiko has never been to Kana's apartment, she is the only person that is in Kana's friend group (not counting Akira and Fujioka) that hasn't been to her place. The end comeuppance for Kana was unexpected but not unwarranted, way to ring in the New Year.
These silly misunderstandings make this series worth watching, I am having a blast watching the lives of the Minami household unfold right before my eyes. I love the Christmas tradition of the Minami family though I'm sure Touma doesn't see it that way. Christmas a great time of year for family to set aside their petty squabbles and to come together. Now that I think about does Japan celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ or at least recognize him? Never thought of how most countries celebrate Christmas outside of the west. Interesting topic, as I was saying It seems Fujioka's present to Chiaki was a great success can't wait to see how it'll affect the series going forward!
It's like the other Minami family is there to be tormented by Minami-ke I feel your pain Akira. The short segment with Chiaki and the rock made me realize that she treated that rock better than half the cast including her own sister Kana. Boy everyone be catching strays when it comes to the Minami household even when you did nothing wrong. I like what Akira said at the end though I love comedic timing, it's the best kind of comedy.
The mighty horse makes a grand entrance, and it's not even winter! Touma makes her debut and is unfortunate enough to meet the curiosity of the Minami sister Chiaki. Now she's forced to live a life foisted upon her by some random girl with the same last name. Touma and Makoto are in essence kindred spirits used as play things by the Minami family.
I can't believe the sisters trying on each others school uniform could be filled with such fighting words. These sisters even hold a grudges for quite some time though it was nice to see them taking care of each other. Golly! why is Kana like that, I know she lacks self control but come on now she's your big sister and Chiaki worked pretty hard! Luckily she had the good sense to owned up to it and apologized.
The visual perspective was kind of off here. When Kana was walking through the hallway her head could've hit the ceiling. I love the mundane things just being cranked up to an eleven! The three girls can make a everyday life feel like an event! Hosaka is stripping his shirt and jacket off now when he thinks of Haruka! He's too much, you can't hate him he livens up the place every time he's on screen. I'm rooting for him and imaginary family with Haruka to become reality. On that note how does he know what Kana and Chiaki look like, or their personalities for that matter curious?
