Komi Can't Communicate

Anime ini menyajikan premis dan plot yang berbeda dari anime kebanyakan. Premisnya sederhana dan realistis, di mana pasti ada orang di dunia nyata yang mengalami hal yang sama seperti yang dialami Komi. Tapi di anime ini Komi bukan karakter yang menyerah begitu saja dengan kelemahannya. Dia mau dan sangat berniat untuk keluar dari zona nyamannya, walaupun tidak semua usahanya membuahkan hasil yang positif. Tapi setidaknya dia mau mencoba, dan itulah yang menurutku ingin disampaikan para penulisnya melalui karakter Komi ini. Selain itu, aku cukup menyukai adegan-adegan komedinya karena tidak dipaksakan untuk lucu, tapi tetap terasa nyambung dengan alur cerita yang sedang dibangun. Sedangkan untuk pace ceritanya menurutku masih bisa dinikmati, walaupun mungkin ada beberapa penonton yang tidak begitu menyukai pace seperti anime ini.

The moment when Komi cheered for Tadano it really felt like the entire pressure was lifted of Tadano shoulders as all he could think about was hearing Komi's cheer. Truly an iconic moment in this episode.

It’s a very very cute show and I love how diverse the cast is and how it shows Komi’s struggle with social anxiety.

To be honest, I expected this one to lean more toward romance than comedy, but that didn’t make me feel bad about the series at all. In fact, it made it even more enjoyable since it felt more like SoL (a genre I love). That said, the story can get pretty random at times, but it has solid character development that you’ll notice as long as you pay enough attention. Animation, visuals, and art-wise, it’s definitely a big W. Not only is it cute, it’s also very expressive. I’d rate this series a 9/10. It’s really fun to watch, as long as you don’t mind the pacing—it is quite slow.

Best episode of this series and an awesome way to end the season! I love that Komi's circle of friends is becoming bigger, the dynamics are unique but still so utterly cute. The little get together at the end is wholesome. The animation and music is superb!

This episode has a storyline unlike the other episodes which makes this one of the best. It's very nice to see the progress of the cultural festival from preparation to the actual event. Komi's development is such a proud moment with how she handled everything for this festival.

We love a good competition between classes! It's nice to see the class all fired up for sports day and the teamwork is really great too! And Onemine is such a refreshing character, the normal one among the unique bunch! And that cute ending though, big shipping vibes.

An episode where we see Komi trying to communicate with people all by herself. The short stories are unrelated but it still shows how Komi has grown to communicate to people bit by bit. It's nice we get to see more Nakanaka in this episode.

Summer episodes are really heartwarming and enjoyable. It's nice that Komi gets to bond with her family and also go to a festival with her friends. The development she went through is very admirable especially with her anxiety and all. Overall, it’s a very wholesome ep!

It isn't a summer episode if the pool isn’t involved! It's nice to see Komi enjoy her summer with her friends and have more friends added to her circle. Also, Komi is really her father's daughter, both of them are very much alike. It's refreshing to see this type of episode.

More group dynamics being discovered and developed! Showing bits and pieces of Komi's life in school and outside of school really makes this episode relatable. Also, new characters are being shown and it's really funny that their names shows hints of their characters.

Still the same chaotic scenarios but the animation just gets better! New characters really adds up to the world building and we got a glimpse of Komi's family too. It was funny but the episode still shows how the characters' dynamics are developing.

Truly a unhinged episode. Komi, despite her disorder, has this charisma that everyone loves and some of them even think of her as a rival. Yamai though is a unique character. The whole time she did her antics is just so dark but still so peak comedy.

The new character is so unhinged with her thoughts and her facial expression. I love that Komi is also growing little by little every episode. Also the scenarios in this episode is so chaotic but at the same time super funny.

This episode really is funny mixed with heartwarming scenes. Love that Komi really does her best to make friends despite the anxiety getting into her. The effort of Tadano to help is also admirable. The new character's personality is very unique and peculiar but still fun.
