Truly a unhinged episode. Komi, despite her disorder, has this charisma that everyone loves and some of them even think of her as a rival. Yamai though is a unique character. The whole time she did her antics is just so dark but still so peak comedy.

We learn why obsession and delusion is a dangerous combo. Tadano finds his life in danger as Komi’s stalker decides to remove every obstacle in order to get closer to her. The atmosphere sells the fear and desperation while still being funny in a darkly comedic way.

We are inroduced to the yandere of the series. I love the creativity of giving the character names that describes them best. The entry of the soundtracks are perfect and character espressions really sets the mood. I love how they added humor to serious scenes to lighten things.

After Episode 3 established Komi's gradual progress in building friendships through school activities, Episode 4 complicates that trajectory by expanding the cast with characters whose intentions aren't purely supportive.
