Synopsis

After an exciting and momentous cultural festival, Shouko Komi continues her endeavor to make one hundred friends alongside her friend and classmate Hitohito Tadano. As winter begins, the class is joined by the seemingly delinquent student Makoto Katai, who has been absent since the first week of school. Despite his intimidating appearance, Katai has difficulty communicating with others and just wants to befriend his classmates. As new friendships form and current ones deepen, Komi and Tadano’s relationship begins to change—though not necessarily for the worse. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

My opinion of the second season hasn’t changed. In fact, I’m really happy with the improvement in the visuals! Unlike the first season, this season’s development is getting sweeter and sweeter. With Komi-san realizing her feelings and Tadano becoming more and more aware of her, it’s definitely a massive W. That said, the story is still very random (and I’m not complaining). I’d rate this series a 9/10. I’m really satisfied with the current development, although it still feels kinda lacking (I want them to marry already, LOL!).

"Perfect season finale" is an understatement! The nostalgic pacing makes me feel young again. Prioritizing friendship and Komi’s growth makes the romantic steps feel so rewarding. Such a beautiful ending that’ll have you wanting for Season 3! Pro tip: Don’t skip the post credits!
