Kaya-chan Isn't Scary

Synopsis
A five-year-old girl gets in trouble at kindergarten every single day. She throws things, runs off during nap time, knocks over furniture. the whole staff is exhausted. Then her new teacher, Chie Hasumi, starts paying closer attention and realizes Kaya Satou isn't acting out for no reason. She's fighting things nobody else can see. That's the setup for Kaya-chan wa Kowakunai, a 12-episode TV series from East Fish Studio that takes the most innocent setting imaginable, a kindergarten, and fills it with genuinely unsettling supernatural threats. Kaya can perceive malevolent spirits that target the people around her, and her "bad behavior" is actually her trying to protect classmates who have no idea they're in danger. Chie figures this out early on, and the two of them form this oddly effective partnership where one is a concerned adult and the other is a kindergartener who can throw hands with ghosts. The tone walks a careful line between dark and weirdly heartfelt. The horror is real: Kohta Yamamoto and Shun Narita's soundtrack makes sure of that, but there's also something genuinely moving about a kid being completely misunderstood while quietly protecting everyone around her. If you liked the cursed-energy combat of Jujutsu Kaisen, the deceptive innocence of The Promised Neverland, or how Madoka Magica hid something sinister behind a cute exterior, this hits a similar nerve. Don't let the kindergarten setting fool you.

It sad and has slice life. I enjoy this anime
Me encantó éste episodio!!
Me gustó bastante éste primer capítulo.
Makin penasaran sama keluarga nya Kaya-chan. Kasihan juga Kaya-chan. Beneran terkejut sama akhir episode nya.
Takut banget sama mama nya Kaya-chan. Akhirnya terungkap apa yang terjadi sama mamanya Kaya-chan. Bagian boneka juga serem banget!
Kan-chan imut sekali. Bagian kaca nya kaget banget aku woyyy serem kali. Khawatir banget sama Bu Mero. Ken ken imut banget pas malu - malu.
Chie-sensei was so cool and brave for protecting Kaya. The ghost in this episode really scared me and the stranger man really gives some weird vibe; I can't trust that guy!
Very nice closure on everything where as suspected there is more to the character of Mutsu. The part right after Namu's assistance is a bit forced but what can you do as we need to progress with the story. We also see the depth of Kaya's kindness shows no end. Worth watching.
Who knew that this anime will have such dark backstory to it? From the unexpected character development of Yoshie to the dark history of Ebisumori clan, still on the fence of who to support as I believe there is more than meets the eye. Definitely a not skippable episode.
Some character development on Kaya after last episode where her brute strength is not enough. Also, more of the history of Ebisumori clan is explained by Nana which would be cool to know more about the actual ritual. Near end even got a little jump scare, was not expecting that.
