The first episode is surprisingly intense but Kaya-chan is so adorable! If you like spiritual horror that isn't too creepy but still gives you chills, this is definitely worth watching!!

This is mine kind of horror which is sort of like monster of the day, so excited to see what ghost will appear each episode. But the glitchy scene with the ghost is a bit hard on the eyes but other than that, the animation looks smooth.

The episode was alright in its animations and characters; but the plot shines through with how unique it is. I don't think childcare-horror is a genre I've scene before, so I'm hopeful in the plot's progression. Though I think it could be hard to pull off.

The animation caught me off guard because of the "glitchy" effects placed on the ghost scenes; they were more funny looking than scary, which really took away some of the scares brought by the otherwise well designed ghosts.

A great introduction to the series! Kaya feels charismatic in her own way despite being shrouded in mystery in regards to her abilities and home life, which will make for an interesting plot.

This is a very entertaining concept. A misunderstood "problematic" main character who is actually have a very good heart and intention. The pacing and character introduction is quite fast and easy to follow. Looking forward to see more of Kaya-Chan's fierceness.

Story is interesting and new . Sound effect is good, she shift quite fast from dark to normal. Her mom's backstory will be instrusting

Even before the OP, the episode tells you that something's wrong with Kaya, but at the same time she's still a kid who wants friends and love.

The episode did well in introducing the base premise and each characters' role in it, but still hides deeper mysteries for later.

Episode 1 is engaging and sets up an intriguing mystery surrounding the ghost encounters affecting various students. Kaya’s ability to confront and defeat these spirits adds an interesting dynamic, while Ms. Chie appears to understand her situation more than others.

Off to a pretty strong start. The jumpscares are well-timed, and they would probably be scarier if they aren’t offset by the rather childish artwork. Voice-acting of the ghosts are creepy and uncanny enough to dissuade you from thinking this is for kids, though.

Episode 1 brings a mix of slice-of-life comfy atmosphere with a touch of horror, leaving a feeling of unsettlement on how the story would unfold. Coupled with an adorable protagonist and her dynamics with her friends, teachers, and supernatural monsters: this is a very solid EP1

EPISODE CONTEXT

As episode one of twelve, this is pure foundation — introducing Kaya, Ms. Chie, and the Hanamugi Kindergarten setting while establishing the tonal blend of horror and comedy that will define the series. No prior context is needed; everything starts here. The relationship between Kaya and Ms. Chie is positioned as the central thread, with supernatural mysteries seeded early that subsequent episodes will expand upon significantly.
