Synopsis
A pair of geniuses have a crush on each other and absolutely refuse to admit it. Miyuki Shirogane, the hardworking student council president, and Kaguya Shinomiya, the absurdly wealthy vice president, are both convinced that confessing first means losing, so instead of just talking like normal people, they spend every student council meeting running elaborate psychological warfare campaigns to force the other one to crack. That's the whole premise, and it never stops being funny. This second season of Kaguya-sama picks up as the school's second term begins. Miyuki's birthday is approaching, the student council's term is winding down, and the window for these two to actually spend time together is shrinking. The stakes feel a bit realer this time around, but the show never loses its comedic edge. A-1 Pictures keeps the animation sharp and expressive across all 12 episodes, with visual gags and narrator interruptions that land every time. The supporting cast, especially Chika and Ishigami, get more room to breathe here, and some of the best episodes are the ones that step away from the central love war entirely. If you enjoyed the teasing dynamic in Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san but wanted something with more ensemble comedy, or if Toradora scratched your rom-com itch and you're looking for another one, this fits perfectly. It treats romance like a chess match, and somehow both players keep losing.

great romance and good comedy. pls watch this anime it is 10/10
The character development for the rest of the student council was insanely good. Fun couple of new characters. Kaguya and the presidents interactions was funny this season but not as fun as the season 1. But still the romance part is slightly better. Can’t wait for the confession

It wastes no time and delivers the exact same high quality, hilarious, and surprisingly heartfelt content we fell in love with. The decision to open with a Hayasaka focused segment was genius it immediately establishes that the supporting cast is going to be just as important this season, and they are. Ishigami gets more screen time, Chika is at peak chaotic energy, and the dynamic between Kaguya and Shirogane is as adorable and frustrating as ever.
I loved everything about this season finale.

We live our lives with passion in our youth. Love is irrational, bursting with incomprehensible reactions. Kaguya and Shirogane are really into each other from the very first episode, and this show is about how they try to make the other confess in hilarious ways. It will make you laugh, love, and sometimes even cry.

Shirogane made me emotional. He is trying his best to put on a mask to conceal his flaws and weaknesses. Fujiwara is so patient with him too - she is aware of this so she takes her time to teach him, even though it is strikingly difficult at first.
What a masterpiece finale! The fireworks scene was so emotional and beautifully directed. Seeing Shirogane go all out just so Kaguya could see the fireworks was peak romance. The OST and the tension were perfect. Best ending ever! 10/10.
It was so hilarious when Yu Ishigami parodied Chika Fujiwara as a joke in front of Miyuki Shirogane, completely unaware that the person he was talking about was right behind him 😂 This episode was absolutely insane, seriously so funny!
this season was so beautiful. The animation on her face when she finally spotted him and running through the festival in her yukata. The shyness between them it can be seen directly on their face and fireworks in the background was pretty!! her expression was so kawaii😭
This is the most emotional. The truth behind Ishigami’s "incident" was so sad, especially how he protected someone's reputation, sacrificing his own reputation. His past was revealed, which shows the serious changes in character and the impact of it
This episode is just like some movie. It manages to balance everything like a story with chaotic and a sweet romantic finish and comedy too and it has all kind of scenes like funny, romantic, and inspiring.
