EPISODE REVIEWS

,The focus of the episode shifted to Ishigami and his struggles. His growth begins as he faces past issues and tries to move forward. it was good that it finally moved on

Episode Context

Sitting at the three-quarter mark of season two, episode 9 continues the Ishigami-focused arc that began in episode 8, representing the season's most significant departure from its comedic formula and deepening the ensemble cast's emotional stakes. The preceding episodes established the student council's group dynamic and escalated Kaguya and Shirogane's tension, and this episode uses that foundation to explore vulnerability across multiple characters. With three episodes remaining, this installment sets the stage for the season's final stretch, where the emotional groundwork laid here will pay dividends.
