Synopsis

After enduring a brutal 100 rejections in middle school, Rentarō Aijō has it rough enough on his own, but then the God of Love drops this on him: he's destined to meet 100 soulmates in high school, and if any of them don't have their feelings returned, they die. No pressure. What starts as a wild premise only gets wilder as Rentarō keeps meeting new girlfriends, each with their own distinct personality and quirks, and he genuinely commits to loving every single one of them. That's the whole bit, and it somehow keeps working. This TV series from Bibury Animation Studios is back for a third season in 2026, which means the girlfriend count is climbing and the chaos is scaling right along with it. The comedy here is sharp and self-aware: it knows exactly how absurd the harem genre is and leans all the way into it. If you liked the ridiculous romantic setups in To Love-Ru or the juggling act in Nisekoi but wished those shows would just fully commit to the absurdity instead of playing it safe, this is what you've been waiting for. It has some of that We Never Learn energy too, where every girl gets her moment, except multiplied by a factor of insanity. The parody angle keeps things fresh even as the roster expands, and the character dynamics between the girlfriends themselves are honestly half the fun. It's a seinen comedy that respects your intelligence enough to be completely stupid on purpose.

You have to appreciate how this show goes from zero to a hundred with the absurdity like that insurance commercial at the start. The performance itself was actually moving despite the weird crowd machine Rentaro built. Seeing Quallie smile at the end because their spirit was high quality really brought the whole thing together, making it a standout moment this season
