That final fight was really good. The fire and water visuals were stunning and the soundtrack knew exactly when to kick in for maximum chills. I do wish some of the side characters got more closure but the main duo's arc was wrapped up really well.

Things are getting serious now. The character dynamics are stronger than before and the fight choreography is incredibly smooth. I love how the episode manages to deliver intense action without losing the emotional weight behind it.

This episode felt very abstract and weird. The atmosphere was fantastic and I understand what they were going for but the pacing was way too slow for me. Too much vague dialogue not enough actual progression. It really gave me that trying too hard to be deep feeling.

The emotional acting here was seriously impressive. The voice actors absolutely nailed the rawness of the characters while the animation wisely focused on small expressions and reactions rather than flashy action. Somehow those little details made everything hit even harder.

This episode got dark. I wasn't expecting it to dive this deeply into the darker side of the mythology. The suspense was fantastic and the somber atmosphere paired beautifully with the soundtrack. The antagonists finally feel more compelling too.

I have some mixed feelings for this episode. The pacing felt strange almost like they were awkwardly re-explaining dynamics we already knew. Still the ocean scenery was gorgeous, Otohime's introduction was beautiful and the music continues to be great.

This episode had some seriously cool powers and designs. I can't lie though those head wings looked ridiculous. The zombies were creepy enough but the Rabbit Mask guy really raised the tension. This world is definitely not safe when spirits start getting involved.
