📖 SYNOPSIS
"The Twelve Kingdoms" follows Nakajima Youko, a seemingly ordinary high school student whose life is irrevocably altered when a man named Keiki pledges his loyalty to her. Before she can understand the situation, she and her friends are attacked by demonic beings and pulled into a different world. This new world is filled with unfamiliar landscapes, creatures, and customs, a stark contrast to her previous life. Separated from Keiki, Youko must navigate this dangerous and unknown realm, facing challenges that test her courage and resilience. The series explores themes of identity, survival, and the struggle to find one's place in a world that is both beautiful and perilous. Youko's journey is one of self-discovery as she learns to adapt and fight for her survival in this fantastical new reality.
