The focus shifts to a burger-themed duel between Akira and Hisako. While the match feels brief, the episode provides deep insight into character motivations and introduces Subaru, whose unique psychological methods add a new layer of tension.
Really enjoyed how this episode keeps introducing more talented chefs without making it feel overwhelming. Every contestant has their own style, so it never gets repetitive. A certain new character also makes an appearance here, and let's just say... he gave me a weird feeling from the moment he showed up 😅 I'm curious to see what role he'll play later.
my favourite part of these episodes are the cooking portions, and with that in mind, this episode does comparatively fall a bit short. the buildup of the character tension is a decent tradeoff though - can't wait to see this intensity next episode!
