EPISODE REVIEWS

Subaru Mimasaka appears as a deeply unsettling yet impressive antagonist. His ability to track, mimic, and perfect an opponent's dish creates genuine tension, turning this episode into a perfect setup for a highly personal grudge match.

This episode shifts the spotlight away from the tournament itself and focuses on a personal rivalry, which I thought was a refreshing change. Subaru's cooking philosophy feels completely different from everyone else's, making the confrontation with Takumi much more psychological than I expected. It's one of those episodes that reminds you this series isn't only about recipes, but also about pride and identity as a chef.

INTENSE AS HELL. i hate mimasaka so much what a pos... i was truly gripping onto my seat that whole time, and that oppressive feeling really could be felt through this episode !!
