EX-ARM

The ending was just okay. Overall, I would say the story is really decent. If you can ignore the bad animation and simply enjoy the story, then it's worth watching. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it.

It's decent, I guess. The plan between the Auctioneer and Akira to take on Beta was pretty cool. One more episode left!

The truth has finally been revealed. The first half mainly focuses on the battle scenes, while the second half delivers the important revelations. The buildup leading to this point has definitely been good!

The pacing is decent, and the buildup to the final hype moment is really good. As always, the emotional scenes don't hit that hard because of the animation. I think the next episode is going to be great.

This episode was definitely interesting, especially with Beta revealing who he was and all the chaos that followed. The pacing was good, and I'm definitely looking forward to the next episode.

In this episode, we learn more about Minami's past since the focus is on her. But it's hard to take the emotional scenes seriously when the animation fails to show the characters' facial expressions properly.

Quite an entertaining episode, especially since everyone at the auction owned an EX-ARM as well. We're finally getting closer to the truth behind Tokyo's destruction and Number 11.

In this episode, I really felt sorry for Akira. This isn't the life or situation he wanted to be in. Helping him relive his old feelings was the best the team could do for him, and of course, there was a purpose behind it. Some people might see this episode as filler, but it actually contains some important information.

This was a good episode despite the animation. It was entertaining to see how Akira overcame the crisis. The pacing was good as well.

A new enemy with special abilities appeared, probably using an EX-ARM as well. It's hard to take it seriously because of the animation, but the story and pacing were just okay nonetheless.

Aside from the bad animation, this episode is okay. Akira joins the Counter EX-ARM team and does his job pretty quickly. The pacing is okay as well.

The story and concept are good, but the animation is really bad. For a 2021 anime, it could've been much better. And the battle scenes look like cutscenes from a PS1 fighting game, bruh.

It had one last hurrah for the conflict, but Akira's finale doesn't land heavy from lacking in the depths he should've had as a character as well as the overall execution of the plot. Lots of missed opportunities here.

It's decent but not a very satisfying kind of resolution. It does resolve the plot but it's just not giving in the end. We still have one episode left but we'll see what happens next.

Now we get the reveal we've been waiting for. It's always fascinating for me to watch morally dubious researches like the one presented in EX-ARM. Another thing is the development with regards to Alma's character. It really shows us how far she's come on her own, which I appreciate.

I liked certain moments in this episode like Alma's and Minami's. It does make me feel like the bonds between characters could've been deepened better but I figure there's just not enough time to really do it. The last bit of the episode was also kinda okay, but the animation being lackluster is bringing the tension down.

Beta was at least interesting to watch with how he contrasts Akira as a program, and the fights here got out of hand real quickly with everyone's conflicting interests. Fairly decent episode overall.

The facial expressions being awkwardly shown is ALSO costing this series. There's a scene here where Minami's supposed to be all emotional but because the faces are stiff, it almost looks like she's smiling instead in a tense situation. It doesn't really help anything.

Man if only the action wasn't so goofy... it really takes away whatever seriousness it could've had. Everything moves in 0.5x speed even if you haven't done any changes to wherever your watching this. The transitions and zoom ins are CHOPPED af I can't help but giggle.

There's very little in this episode that serves the story as it were, even if the info seemed important? Like it was related still to the mystery of what truly happened in that one big disaster involving Akira, but against the filler content it didn't really land that hard on me.
