Synopsis
Picture a guy with a lizard head, no memories, and a habit of shoving people's heads into his jaws to ask the mysterious face in his throat if they're the sorcerer who cursed him. That's just a normal Tuesday in The Hole, a grimy, industrial wasteland where magic users treat regular humans like lab rats. Season 1 set up the chaos, Caiman and his best friend Nikaido running a gyoza shop between bouts of sorcerer-hunting, while the sorcerer side has its own cast of weirdly likable killers doing their thing. Season 2 picks up the thread and goes deeper, pulling apart the mystery of who Caiman actually is while the world around him gets more dangerous and more unhinged. The vibe here is hard to pin down, and that's kind of the point. It's gross, funny, violent, and oddly warm all at the same time. MAPPA's blend of 2D and 3D animation gives everything this surreal, textured look that fits the setting perfectly, and the soundtrack mixes jazz, rock, and electronic in a way that shouldn't work but absolutely does. If you liked the brutal atmosphere of Hell's Paradise or the stylish lawlessness of Akudama Drive, this is in that neighborhood but weirder. Dororo fans will also find familiar ground in the cursed-protagonist setup, though Dorohedoro leans way harder into dark comedy. It's seinen through and through: messy, strange, and completely its own thing.

Episodio de cierra de la segunda temporada, donde al fin se responde a las grandes incógnitas y con un emotivo momento de Natsuki. Eso dolió. Ya está anunciada una nueva temporada así que a esperar. Esta temporada estuvo mejor animada, se hizo un buen trabajo con el CGI, lo que logró que el gore y la brutalidad impactaran más.
Un episodio de transición que nos prepara para los eventos que están por ocurrir. Mucha estrategia, entrenamiento y flashbacks. Pero lo mejor sin dudas es la aterradora evolución de Ebisu, que se ve bien con el cgi.
Un episodio completo con revelaciones, combates y con desarrollo para personajes secundarios. Los combates tan gores mejoran muchísimo con una buena animación.
Un episodio con varios giros de trama que cambian el porvenir de este anime, además de mostrarnos trasfondo y pasado de Nikaido. Aunque un poco caótico y por momentos confuso porque cuenta demasiadas cosas al mismo tiempo.
