The focus shifts between several characters. I enjoyed seeing different perspectives instead of following just one storyline the whole time.

The back story and the lore of Nikaido are progressing fast! The flow of this episode is getting bigger, and I think Chota's fate will be seen by En sooner or later!

Episode four gives us a deeper look into Nikaido’s backstory, adding layers to her character and showing how interconnected everyone’s lives really are. What’s fascinating is that, as viewers, we’re piecing together these connections while the characters themselves remain oblivious, a clever use of dramatic irony that keeps us hooked.

The pacing feels deliberate, allowing the story threads to overlap naturally. It’s almost dizzying to see how much the characters’ paths cross, yet how blind they are to the bigger picture.

Another standout element is the suspense around Risu’s killer. Dagu knows the truth but refuses to reveal it, which is both frustrating and alluring. This silence hints at a larger, more dangerous antagonist waiting in the wings, and the tension of withheld information makes the mystery even more compelling.

Classic Dorohedoro balancing pure body horror with ridiculous, laugh out loud comedy. The whole beetle situation and Chota uncovering secrets is peak bizarre fiction.
