The battles have real weight to them — fluid animation, creative uses of both Quincy and Soul Reaper abilities, and a soundtrack that knows exactly when to go quiet and when to go loud. If you liked the escalation in Naruto: Shippuden's war arc, or the way Jujutsu Kaisen balances character drama with brutal fights, this covers similar ground but with two decades of buildup behind every confrontation. Fans of Demon Slayer's visual spectacle will find a lot to appreciate here too. It's dense, it's tense, and it earns every moment.
