Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Separation
Oshimeter
Synopsis
After Yhwach's invasion leaves the Soul Society in ruins, the devastation is only beginning. Yhwach and his Quincy army rolled through, killed captains, and, here's the real problem, stole their Bankai. The most powerful weapons the Soul Reapers had are just gone. So now you've got these elite warriors scrambling to figure out how to fight without their trump cards, and Ichigo heading off on his own journey to unlock power he didn't even know he had. That's the setup for this 13-episode TV series, and it hits different from the first cour. Where part one was a blitz of chaos and devastation, The Separation slows down just enough to let the weight of everything sink in before ramping back up. The training arcs here actually feel earned, characters confronting who they are, not just powering up for the sake of it. Studio Pierrot went hard on the animation and the soundtrack carries every scene, whether it's a quiet moment of grief or a full-blown Quincy throwdown. If you liked the war arcs in Naruto: Shippuden or the Chimera Ant arc in Hunter x Hunter, that feeling of real consequences stacking up, this is in that lane. And if you watched One Piece's Wano for the spectacle, the production quality here matches that energy. Bleach's return wasn't just nostalgia bait. This arc is the payoff long-time fans waited over a decade for, and it genuinely delivers.

Cinematic action between Yhwach and Ōsho, a powerful soundtrack, and high-quality animation with multiple stunning fight sequences make this episode even more satisfying.
Perfect pacing, good animation, and some of Mayuri’s deadly experiments on the battlefield make it funny and enjoyable.
Just detailed explanation in this episode with great visualization.. Just some horror vibes because of zombies, anyway Not good or not bad of an episode.
Ichigo’s entry and fight make this episode more exciting than ever
Absolute peak🙌🏽, Kenpachi just aura farming in this episode, and the animation was perfect
Peak animation, The animators truly gave their best to make Rukia’s power-up and Bankai look amazing 😍
This episode delivers Renji power up and also, love the character development..
The animation was perfect, and the sacrifice Sanji made for his revenge was heartwarming. Still if he can reach out to Yhwach in that from would make more interesting, (it's my personal opinion bythwy)
This episode contains a lot of explanations and story elements, but it also contains plenty of fight scenes, which keeps the pacing exciting and prevents it from feeling bord
The fight scene looks absolutely awesome in the dark theme and its fast-paced action makes more interesting to watch.
The tittle of the episode suites perfectly, like a countdown for destruction, also Yhwach calm and cold presence make it more interesting to start the arc
Urahara and Kurotsuchi interaction is hilarious. I take back what I said last season, Ayana Taketatsu fits Bambietta's whining so well. Hirako's bankai and theme was also very cool
Very tense episode as the fight rages on - episode just flew right by
The opening theme is ok - might need more time to get used to it. Really impressive scenes and visuals- just like from season 1. In particular, I really liked the scene with all the hands. Really surprised to see Nao Touyama as Giselle. In fact, all of the Bambies and their voice actors surprise me as these are not their usual roles.
