Unexpected big W. Zero action, full story. Ukitake's backstory hits heavy, then Kyoraku walks into Muken and the tension is just... uncomfortable in the best way. This is Bleach proving it doesn't need a sword swing to grip you. Character writing at its finest. <3

This episode finally reveals Jyushiro Ukitake's past, I did not expect his backstory to be like that. I really love how we got more scenes with him and Shunsui Kyoraku when they were younger. I did not expect that ending though, I wonder how things will work out for Shunsui.
