The school festival atmosphere initially feels lighthearted before the mystery slowly turns emotional. Sakurako talking about preserving her cat feels strangely intimate and revealing.

A softer and more reflective episode compared to the darker cases before it. The mourning jewelry detail gives the mystery a bittersweet emotional feeling that quietly lingers.

The truth behind the curse is both tragic and realistic. Miyuki’s emotional outburst toward Takeshi becomes the emotional core, while Sakurako’s instincts remain impressively sharp.

The “curse” mystery creates an eerie atmosphere without relying on cheap scares. Hector’s presence and the family tension make the episode feel quietly unsettling throughout.

This episode balances tragedy and comfort surprisingly well. The grandmother’s case feels deeply human, and Sakurako quietly revealing more about her brother adds emotional weight.

The missing child case hits much harder emotionally than expected. Sakurako’s cold deductions contrast beautifully with Shōtarō’s compassion, especially during the tense house confrontation.

Unfortunately, they left us with an open ending, which I didn't totally like. However, I’m giving it 5 stars because Sakurako’s character development is so clear; Shoutarou literally melted our protagonist's heart. ⛄

Definitely one of my favorite episodes so far! We got name reveals, flashbacks, tense moments, and some really great plot twists. I want to give a special shout-out to Hector, our mystery-solving pup (he doesn't get mentioned enough haha). We're getting close to the end!

If there’s one thing we’ve learned throughout the episodes, it’s that Sakurako never does anything without a reason. Once again, her incredible wit is on display as she reveals a new case. I really liked how they aren't leaving any loose ends, so—pretty good! 👍

Continuing from the previous ep, this finale brings a flashback of how Shoutarou first met Sakurako, plus a glimpse of their early case. It ends on a warm, feel-good note. The story, animation, and character dynamics are all top notch. Nice wrap overall, hope we get a season 2!

Wow, that trio is seriously insane. This case will leave you speechless, with plot twist after plot twist! Definitely worth being stretched into two episodes. Great job on the storyline 👏🏻 There’s also a shocking moment with Shoutarou. It ends on an emotional, heavy vibe.

This ep focuses on a side character, with a case that feels pretty complex and still involves a mysterious culprit. The tension slowly starts to build. Sakurako’s curiosity really drives the investigation, but it takes two episodes to wrap up, so gotta be patient!

Still no heavy case yet, just uncovering small mysteries from people close to them. This ep feels a bit different with two separate stories. Even without much tension, the emotional weight builds up and hits by the end. Might wanna prepare some tissues 🥲

That was a highly emotional episode; I’ll be honest, I shed a few tears. The love for a grandmother can run incredibly deep, and that’s exactly what they showed here. I felt they touched on some very sensitive themes with some rational, emotional and a little bit of comedy.
