A reflective finale that focuses more on connection than mystery. Shōtarō deciding to stay beside Sakurako despite everything gives the ending a warm but uncertain feeling.

Unfortunately, they left us with an open ending, which I didn't totally like. However, I’m giving it 5 stars because Sakurako’s character development is so clear; Shoutarou literally melted our protagonist's heart. ⛄

Continuing from the previous ep, this finale brings a flashback of how Shoutarou first met Sakurako, plus a glimpse of their early case. It ends on a warm, feel-good note. The story, animation, and character dynamics are all top notch. Nice wrap overall, hope we get a season 2!
