The school festival atmosphere initially feels lighthearted before the mystery slowly turns emotional. Sakurako talking about preserving her cat feels strangely intimate and revealing.

Another chill episode. It starts with a school festival, and the visuals feel really refreshing while the character interactions are fun. Then it shifts back to the bone mystery at school, with a bit of debate that brings up Sakurako’s past. Curious to see what happens next!

If one thing is clear in this episode, it’s the contrast between Sakurako’s and Tatewaki's personalities. While she is a cold, logical, mystery-solving machine, Tatewaki is more emotional and empathetic. I like that character dynamic; it creates a great balance.
