Synopsis

As a child, Akane Ousaki watched her father perform rakugo, that traditional Japanese art of solo storytelling where one person sits on a stage and brings an entire cast of characters to life with nothing but a fan and a towel. She loved it. She wanted to be just like him. Then the rakugo establishment crushed her father's career, and that admiration turned into something sharper: a quiet, burning drive to reach the top herself and prove them all wrong. This is a TV series about a young woman grinding her way through an old-school art form dominated by tradition and hierarchy, performing in front of audiences who can tell if you're faking it.
