This episode feels less like a competition and more like watching artists find their identity. That made this episode stand out for me.

I do like how the voice actress's performance centers the wife in the story.

Episode Context

With three episodes remaining, the Karaku Cup finals are reaching their emotional peak. Episode 8 broadened the lens to examine what drives different performers to compete, and Episode 9 carries that thread forward through Hikaru's personal arc before pivoting toward Akane's long-anticipated turn on stage, the confrontation the season has been building toward.
