12-sai.: Chicchana Mune no Tokimeki

It was an okay ending, and by that, I mean I wanted more, haha! Even though this anime was cheesy at times, it still makes your heart throb! Takao and Ayase were sweet this ep, but I find Aoi and Hiyama's love story deeper and more mature. Aoi helping out really shows how much she likes Hiyama. Nonetheless, I'll definitely come back to this anime just to feel giddy, haha! It's a light and cute watch!

The cheesiness is really there, but I was all smiles watching this ep, haha! I guess it's the beauty of innocence. This summer ep was executed well, Aoi and Hanabi were cute! The pacing was just fine. Though there's not much plot advancement, it was still an enjoyable watch!

Again, the pacing was too fast. And this episode had that same vibe as the other episodes, nothing really notable about it. Though it had some comedy, it was an enjoyable watch. Cocoa pisses me off every time she appears on screen, haha! The ending was still sweet though.

We're back again with another episode that has very fast pacing. It feels like a lot happened! I appreciate that this ep focused more on Aoi and Ayase's friendship instead of their love lives. We can see more depth among the characters here. An okay watch to know them better!

There were cute moments this ep, but it was quite boring. The pacing is slower (in a good way), we can see how each couple develops. Special appreciation to the girls' friendship, I really like how they share their relationship troubles. Marin is best girl also! Still an okay watch.

This ep was rather deep and showed us more about the feelings of the characters for each other, which I really liked! The pacing this ep was also slower compared to the others, which I think feels just right. This was a good watch! I love Aoi and Hiyama's love story so much!

This was a rather interesting and satisfying ep! Though there were cringe moments—Tsutsumi's lines were cheesy as hell 😭—the ending was really satisfying. The ep itself was cringe, but the angst was good, haha! I just wish they'd act more like kids, they act so mature 😭

So many cliche and cringe moments here 😭 Takao's too good to be true, I actually liked Tsutsumi's complex feelings for Hanabi better. I can't comprehend how much I disliked Hanabi's behavior this ep! Maybe it's 'cause they're kids and immature, haha. I wouldn't watch this ep, tbh.

This ep isn't much, just a new character to build conflict. Too many picture-perfect scenes that feel unrealistic since they're kids, or maybe I'm just bitter, haha! Also a few cringeworthy scenes, especially during the dance test 😭 Watch just to get to know the new character.

Actually, this was a quietly satisfying ending. Despite the episode only having a subtle glimpse of the other couple's moments, it was a fairly good finale. Fortunately, Takao's cute expressions made me rethink his personality. Also, it is not just Kokoa whose presence is annoying, but Eikou and his friends as well. Their constant meddling was very childish, though it was somewhat redeemed by their hilarious animation reactions, making their characters somewhat entertaining. Furthermore, the post credits scene is an absolute must watch.

This episode was really cute! There were funny scenes, especially with Yui and Hiyama, I love their dynamic so much! Didn't appreciate some too dramatic scenes, but I remember they're kids... but then again they're also in relationships, haha! Still a feel-good ep! An okay watch!

It was actually a great episode, as it captured another touching moment between the couples, and the new setting made their interactions feel refreshing. Furthermore, the distinct contrast between the two male leads hits differently. I much prefer Hiyama’s shy personality over Takao’s mature dynamic. For me, Takao feels more like an older brother to Ayase, which is why I did not see much spark between them. Though, this might also be due to how rushed their development felt, making their romantic chemistry fall a bit flat for me.

This episode was quite decent, as it subtly highlighted a particular traditional celebration while offering a broader feature for each of the characters. It also successfully delivered a warm vibe and some lighthearted fun, which provided good entertainment throughout the runtime. But to be honest, the plot felt just average and did not have much of an impact on me, except for Yui and Hiyama. It was ultimately just an okay episode!!.

Highlighting this episode through its portrayal of their complex friendship perfectly captured the relatable emotional depth and personal growth of the characters. Moreover, the situations in each scene seamlessly reflected real world dynamics, fully encapsulating the peer interactions, pressures, circumstances and raw emotions as they unfolded.

This was rather an interesting romance buildup compared to the previous ep, it was more romantic than cute. Some scenes were really provoking, didn't like the boys' behavior—it was too much! Props to the anime for handling it well. But there were also a lot of funny scenes, it was a good watch!

6th graders having a better love story 🙁 haha! It was a cute ep! But it seemed really fast for an introduction, so much has happened already. Still, the writing is good—tells us a lot about teenage puberty. I recommend watching for the fluff, but I'd love to see the characters grow!

As expected, I was much more drawn to the other main pair's chemistry, as their subtle development was extremely engaging and interesting. Their conflicting dynamic certainly mirrors real world scenarios, showing a classic cat and dog relationship from the last episode and also this one, which made for a very romantic interaction. Aside from that, kudos to Marin!!! Her somewhat mature character was a great addition to the series.

It is a great touch to add deeper, substantive insight into the narrative approach, giving more detail to their very fast romantic progression. Also, the character focal highlights in this episode absolutely deliver the excitement and butterflies inducing emotions I have been yearning for because their dynamic is what I like the most.

This episode effectively elevates the escalating tension between the featured characters and clearly builds a deeper foundation for the main leads. Nevertheless, I still feel it lacks a bit of profound depth between the two, as their development feels a bit too abrupt for me, and this fast paced progression is what makes the special spark feel a bit diluted. This is why I find myself preferring the other side's point of view instead. Well, the runtime was fine, but the story just did not quite hit the mark. It is just that the focus on the leads' dynamics does not quite hit the romantic sweet spot for me, and in fact, it is actually the other way around.

Well yeah, the chemistry between the lead couple was incredibly sweet. However, I am more drawn to the other side's viewpoint, as it effectively delivers the gradual pace of romantic excitement and genuine thrill that I have been looking for. On another note, their outfit choices were remarkably creative and stylish, as the design did not just stick to a single monotonous clothing look but efficiently showcased various refreshing styles, making every scene a joy to watch.
