If you liked Black Clover's "magicless kid refuses to quit" energy or the way The Irregular at Magic High School plays with power systems and academy politics, this hits a similar nerve. There's also a Blue Exorcist-style tension between belonging and being an outsider. It's a straightforward shounen at heart — determination, bonds, proving people wrong — but it earns those beats through Will's specific struggle rather than just going through the motions.
