Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 Episode 8: Teachings of the Witch

hmmm idk, much like a breather episode with like a focus on the character. I mean it is nice, we get to know the character more deeply.

Slow episode. We get a Julius flashback. Not bad by any means. It's more focused on like character stuff.

It has a slower pace. The atmosphere feels mysterious, and the visuals are consistently beautiful.

Oho, just a glimpse and it’s already very interesting, a new dynamic is about to unfold. Hahaha he’s really open about it all. This is topic where you walk on eggshells. He’s a promising character, if well used, he could steal a lot of attention and become one of the show’s strengths. A stronger bond and new path open up ahead. Julius is the thinking head here hahaha. Great, Will can only attract the weirdos.

I think Julius does care about Will deep down, all that effort he puts in says more than his words ever will, and he's such a tsundere lol. That punch and Will's little "PHOO" was so cute. I need the next episode already

Between the training, the backstory, and the surprise intervention, this episode felt like three episodes worth of content packed into one in a good way. 👀

Julius's backstory explains a lot without completely excusing his attitude. That's the kind of character writing I like.

This episode balanced training, lore, and drama so well. Nobody was just standing around explaining things and the story kept moving. Pacing was pretty slow though
