While the story seemed a bit average at first, it eventually becomes much more interesting as the direction of the plot begins to unfold. And also, Kiriwo’s character transition from his kind persona to those villain vibes is truly striking and interesting.

The tension just keeps rising! As the Party Eve continues, there's this unimaginable level of tension that the writing manages to write off slightly as the characters just normally worrying as usual. Kiriwo's plans are finally coming to a head, and I'm really intrigue at what he truly intends to do within the academy.

MUST WATCH. This episode sets up the ENTIRE Battler Party finale. If you skip this, you'll be completely lost when everything goes down in the next episodes. Plus the "two paths to the same dream" parallel between Iruma and Kiriwo is some of the best writing in the series.

From this point on, it feels like everything is about to spiral into chaos. Kiriwo is truly evil, how could anyone manipulate someone as kind as Iruma? 😭😭 The episode shifts dramatically from a bright and cheerful atmosphere into pure tension as Kiriwo’s plan finally begins to unfold. The contrast is striking, and it makes me even more curious to see how Iruma will respond to the truth behind Kiriwo. I’m completely invested at this point, LOL.

It was nice seeing everyone have fun at the festival, it was wholesome watching everyone get together before Kiriwo's plan took action. My favorite scene from this episode was when Iruma managed to eat that big pile of yakisoba, he inhaled it kirby lol.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Positioned at episode 16 of 23, 'Party Eve' serves as a critical pivot point between the earlier discovery of Kiriwo's hidden secrets and the chaos that erupts once the Battler Party begins. It channels the momentum from recent revelations into festive preparation, letting tension simmer beneath the surface comedy. This episode directly sets the stage for 'Run, Iruma, to Kiriwo!,' where the celebration takes a sharp and consequential turn.
