Man, Ordrasse is an even bigger filth in the world. He's so twisted. How dare he set his sights on Ninym as well? Can you believe it? More so about how he had calmly and casually told Wein about what he did to his own flesh and blood. I think this is a great watch. It opens more to how the world works. And like the previous episodes that parallel the things in our own world, this one definitely takes the cake. Even though it's dialogue-heavy in the first half, you definitely learn a lot from conversations alone.

Okay… King Ordalasse made me uncomfortable in the best way possible 😬😬 The way he talks so calmly while clearly plotting something is kinda scary. This episode was mostly dialogue, but I was surprisingly locked in the whole time. Political conversations in this anime somehow never feel dry.

From previous dialogue-heavy episode, this is where the rebellion arc peaked. Wein enemies really should learn to not provoke him using Ninym, it'll only motivate him more to crush them. While there's not much action scene to be animated here, it's still an important setting stage for future arcs. Nicely done. 8.5/10.

Episode Context

Past the halfway mark, Genius Prince shifts into a slower, more deliberate gear. This is a political chess episode through and through, expect sharp dialogue exchanges, tense negotiations, and Wein doing what he does best: outmaneuvering everyone in the room while pretending he'd rather be anywhere else. The comedy remains present but takes a backseat to genuine intrigue as alliances shift and old enemies become potential partners. Ninym stays central to the dynamic, grounding Wein's scheming with practical reality checks. The title says it all: loyalties are fluid, and this episode leans hard into the theme that pragmatism trumps grudges in Natra's political arena. If you enjoy the series more for its strategic back-and-forth than its comedy beats, this episode delivers exactly that energy with satisfying tension throughout.
