Synopsis
Meet a genius strategist prince who just wants to sell his kingdom and retire. That's his actual plan: dad's sick, he's stuck running the small, broke Kingdom of Natra, and he figures the fastest way out is to tank the country's value, auction it off, and peace out. The problem is, every scheme he cooks up to ruin Natra accidentally makes it more powerful. He tries to lose a war and ends up winning decisively. He tries to sabotage negotiations and walks away with a better deal than anyone expected. The guy literally cannot fail, and it's slowly destroying him. His aide Ninym Ralei is the only one who knows about his true intentions, and watching their dynamic is one of the best parts of this 12-episode TV series. She's sharp, competent, and endlessly patient with his nonsense. The comedy lands because the political maneuvering underneath it is genuinely clever: Wein isn't just lucky, he's brilliant, which makes his inability to be strategically incompetent even funnier. If you liked the kingdom-building side of How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom but wished it leaned harder into comedy, this is your show. Fans of Overlord's "plans within plans that weren't actually plans" energy will feel right at home too. It's light, it's fun, and the fantasy political intrigue has more substance than you'd expect from the premise.

As Zenovia called him, he truly was a one-of-a-kind monster born in the royal family, lol. Still, it really shows as well just how much he cares and trusts his own people in his own ways. Well, the pacing this time was well-balanced between dialogue and action, although it leans more on the strategy side so it might feel too slow for some.

Other than the food, which looked extremely delicious, the biggest merit of this episode was the conversation between Gruyere, Wein, and Ninym. The talks about God and scriptures--- it's definitely the highlight of this. There's a mild surprise after, though, which I honestly think ruined the entire conversation. But if they're taken as two separate things--religious and political-- I think the merit stands.

Instead, she gained something better during her conversation with Wein. I recommend this episode personally solely because of that conversation she had with Wein. It was profound, although I guess the answer to Wein's questions; I didn't quite expect the idea he was circling back to with Zenovia's question.
