I really like this as a finale. Throughout the series, Wein was such a brilliant menace. As Zenovia called him, he truly was a one-of-a-kind monster born in the royal family, lol. Still, it really shows as well just how much he cares and trusts his own people in his own ways. Well, the pacing this time was well-balanced between dialogue and action, although it leans more on the strategy side so it might feel too slow for some.

The first half was a little funny in its own way. Other than the food, which looked extremely delicious, the biggest merit of this episode was the conversation between Gruyere, Wein, and Ninym. The talks about God and scriptures--- it's definitely the highlight of this. There's a mild surprise after, though, which I honestly think ruined the entire conversation. But if they're taken as two separate things--religious and political-- I think the merit stands.

It's a pretty silly and chill episode. Though Zenovia didn't exactly go through with the plan, I think it was a good thing. Instead, she gained something better during her conversation with Wein. I recommend this episode personally solely because of that conversation she had with Wein. It was profound, although I guess the answer to Wein's questions; I didn't quite expect the idea he was circling back to with Zenovia's question.

I think I just watched our dear Falanya grow up; it made me so proud. She's far more diplomatic and peace-forward unlike Wein, but this contrast was definitely the charm that this episode showed brilliantly. If you've ever wondered what Falanya's role would be given the previous episode, this one would answer that for you. On the other hand, we got to see a curious color from the third prince as well. He's definitely up to something. That aside, I envy Wein for having Ninym and a cute sister like Falanya, lol.

I'm saying this now, but that first prince of the empire is like an annoying piece of furniture in the episode. All wickedness and no brains to contribute. That said, Falanya handled this episode so well. Apart from being cute with Ninym and Lowel, she really took after her brother, Wein. Not really strategy or tactic-wise, but it's in the way they think and assess things along themselves. It's a good dynamic to see between siblings, even though it wasn't exactly the highlight here.

Man, Ordrasse is an even bigger filth in the world. He's so twisted. How dare he set his sights on Ninym as well? Can you believe it? More so about how he had calmly and casually told Wein about what he did to his own flesh and blood. I think this is a great watch. It opens more to how the world works. And like the previous episodes that parallel the things in our own world, this one definitely takes the cake. Even though it's dialogue-heavy in the first half, you definitely learn a lot from conversations alone.

I'm glad to be reminded that Wein was a good kind of sinister. The others were disgusting and utterly doing/planning things somehow for the thrill of it. Although there are indeed underlying tensions and political reasons behind them, I feel like they're more inclined to toy with people's lives or simply just to serve their own interests. Which is probably expected, but it still makes me sick to this day. Well, either way, this is a major plot despite the pacing being a bit slower than the previous ones. Definitely a must-watch.

I honestly feel sorry for Grenache. Just a little, because he just lost a family and then suddenly got offered something utterly ridiculous. But that still doesn't excuse his plans and actions anyway. On the other hand, it shows us Wein's subtle, sinister side, even though it was done playfully and strategically for Lowel's sake. That said, I can agree with Lowel in the end about Ninym and Wein's dynamic. It's such an endearing thing.

The mind games in this episode were quite something. It's a must-watch for people who enjoy strategy talks, but also a good watch for casual watchers curious about it. This is also important for the plot, so it's a given to not skip it. That said, I find the strategies and political nuances in Wein and Lowa's conversation to be quite fascinating. It's subtle, but I see parallels to it in our modern world. Though, if I'm being honest, I'm rewatching it now purely to see Ninym again, lol.

Pretty satisfying finale honestly. It wrapped things nicely while still leaving enough to keep me curious for what’s next. The quieter moments hit harder than I expected, especially with Ninym involved. And Wein… yeah, there’s definitely more going on in his head than he lets people see. Wish next season comes soon!!

Not gonna lie, the hospitality part was lowkey hilarious 😭 Poor Wein looked like he was fighting for his life wkwk... But once the diplomacy kicked in, the episode got really interesting. I like how this show keeps making political strategy feel way more intense than actual battles.

Who knew negotiations could be this entertaining 😆😆 Wein turning conversations into weapons will never stop being fun to watch. Zeno had some really good moments too, and I unexpectedly enjoyed their interactions a lot. That bench conversation especially… yeah, I liked that one.

Falanya really shined here and I loved that for her. She may look soft, but this episode showed a different side of her strength. I also liked that the emotional moments didn’t feel forced. Some scenes genuinely made me go… okay wow, she’s growing a lot.

I honestly didn’t expect Falanya to carry an episode this well. Seeing her handle all that pressure was both stressful and impressive. Lowellmina was also really fun to watch because every word from her feels calculated. This episode made me appreciate Falanya way more.

Okay… King Ordalasse made me uncomfortable in the best way possible 😬😬 The way he talks so calmly while clearly plotting something is kinda scary. This episode was mostly dialogue, but I was surprisingly locked in the whole time. Political conversations in this anime somehow never feel dry.

Not gonna lie.. this episode felt slower compared to previous ones, but not in a bad way. It’s more setup-heavy, yet the tension is still there because you just know something feels off the whole time. The festival setting was pretty nice though. Also, Ninym just keeps proving why she’s best girl.

Probably one of the more suspenseful episodes so far... You can feel the paranoia building because nobody seems fully trustworthy. I like how the episode kept shifting your expectations. Wein stays cool under pressure, and that makes every reveal hit harder. Smart and satisfying.

This episode felt like pure mind games and I loved every second of it. The back-and-forth between Wein and Lowa was so sharp, with both constantly trying to stay one step ahead. Gerard also brought a chaotic energy that made things even more unpredictable. Tense, clever, and weirdly fun to watch.

Lowa’s entrance changed the vibe completely and I loved it. Less action, more mind games, but somehow even more intense. The academy flashbacks added nice context without dragging. The banter here was sharp and fun... every conversation felt like hidden chess moves.

This episode really shows why Wein is terrifyingly smart even when he doesn’t want to be. The battlefield tension was solid, but I also liked the quieter moments with Ninym. It balances strategy and character moments nicely. You keep thinking, “How is he gonna talk his way out of this?” couldn't predict his moves at all.
