I'm glad to be reminded that Wein was a good kind of sinister. The others were disgusting and utterly doing/planning things somehow for the thrill of it. Although there are indeed underlying tensions and political reasons behind them, I feel like they're more inclined to toy with people's lives or simply just to serve their own interests. Which is probably expected, but it still makes me sick to this day. Well, either way, this is a major plot despite the pacing being a bit slower than the previous ones. Definitely a must-watch.

Not gonna lie.. this episode felt slower compared to previous ones, but not in a bad way. It’s more setup-heavy, yet the tension is still there because you just know something feels off the whole time. The festival setting was pretty nice though. Also, Ninym just keeps proving why she’s best girl.

Wein literally doing his best to be as lazy as possible yet his sheer capableness keeps biting him back and gets him into deeper conspiracies, suffering from success is this man life story. The introduction of Zeno clearly signal the start of a more complicated future too. Pace, animation are adequate while plot is spectacularly engaging.

Episode Context

The midpoint of the season pivots from internal palace scheming to a broader diplomatic stage. Prince Wein takes his sharp political instincts on the road, traveling to the Cavarin Kingdom for a religious festival that doubles as a hotbed of political maneuvering. The tone leans into the series' signature mix, calculated strategy dressed up in comedic confidence, while introducing a layer of cultural tension as Ninym must disguise herself to navigate local prejudices. Expect new faces, shifting allegiances, and Wein doing what he does best: reading a room full of people who underestimate him. The humor stays intact but the stakes feel wider now, with international consequences replacing the domestic threats of earlier episodes. It's a table-setting episode that rewards patience with sharp dialogue and escalating intrigue.
