Mashle: Magic and Muscles
Oshimeter
Synopsis
In this world, magic determines everything: your social status, your worth as a person, even your right to exist, and Mash Burnedead has none of it. No magic mark on your face? You get eliminated. Mash has no magic. What he does have is the ability to bench press basically anything and an almost spiritual devotion to cream puffs. He's been hiding in the forest with his adoptive dad, just vibing and working out, until circumstances force him to enroll in Easton Magic Academy. His goal: become a Divine Visionary, the highest honor a student can earn. His method: punch everything. Classmates casting fireballs? He punches through them. Complex magical duels with elaborate spell systems? He just hits harder. The comedy here works because Mash isn't doing it to be funny, he's completely deadpan about the whole thing, which makes it way funnier. If you liked One Punch Man's whole "overpowered protagonist in a world that doesn't know what to do with him" energy, or Black Clover's underdog-in-a-magic-academy setup, this hits a similar nerve but leans way harder into the absurdist comedy. It's got that Mob Psycho 100 DNA too, where raw power meets a protagonist who genuinely doesn't care about looking cool. A-1 Pictures handles the animation, and the action scenes land surprisingly well for a show that's mostly a gag comedy. Twelve episodes, clean pacing, doesn't overstay its welcome.

Overhyped... I think the story can be better....but the opening song is the best one 😄
Bear: Honestly made me chuckle on multiple occasions, pretty interesting concept if not overplayed a little bit with the magic world, but I think the parody on it gives it life if this show can genuinely be funny unlike other “comedy” style anime Otter: pretty good animation style, not necessarily my favorite after the first episode but like I’d be open to watching more ( feels like Harry Potter rip off)
This one knows exactly what it is and sticks to it. Pure parody with a dumb but effective concept. Mash Burnedead is basically the joke engine, and it works. I enjoyed the early gags a lot, but you can already tell repetition might kick in later.
Very hilarious that Mash is a very strong person despite his appearance. This episode also have a lot of funny moment where we can see the other characters reaction when he see Mash skill.
Episode 1 clearly introduces the magic world and Mash, who lacks magic but overcomes everything with pure strength. The humor comes from the absurd contrast between muscles and spells, plus his emotionless reactions in intense moments. A chaotic and funny start for fans of parody
If you like Harry Potter, this is a must-watch. It’s funny right from the first few minutes and will probably make you smile. The character introductions are eye-catching and fun. The ending is a bit predictable, but the comedy makes it worth it.

Dito na nalaman ng lahat ng tao na si Mashle ay walang kapangyarihan, Nagulat nga den pati mga kaibigan nya , "All of that is no magic " pero si mashle Food is life parin custardddd
Mashle: Magic and Muscles Episode 12 was incredibly fun and exciting to watch. This anime really made me feel nostalgic because the magical world strongly reminded me of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and the overall Harry Potter atmosphere. The mix of magic, comedy, and action makes every episode entertaining, but what makes it even more unique is how hilarious and overpowered Mash is. The fights were exciting, the humor landed perfectly, and the magical setting felt very immersive. I honestly enjoyed this anime a lot because it combines fantasy and comedy in such a refreshing way.
As the season ends, it seems like the focus is more on hyping up what is coming next. To be fair, that final fight is teasing a lot about the connection between our hero and the true villain of the story. Then there's the secret getting leaked, very curious on how that plays out.
Undoubtedly, this episode has the best animated fight scene this season, everything looked awesome from start to finish. But one of the most surprising part of all this is the villain's backstory, it actually makes him sympathetic. Can't wait for the finale to wrap things up.
At long last, we actually see what a real "divine visionary" is capable of, and it does not disappoint. But earlier, we also discover that there is more to our hero's friends than meets the eye. Overall, this episode is full of surprising twists that makes it quite intriguing.
The theme of this episode is that, oftentimes, you're not so different from your opponents, and that is something you can bond over. Yes, the action is expectedly good, but the fact that the main character can be that thoughtful was quite surprising. There's more to him really.
And so we head into a mini tournament arc, our hero and his friends can't really catch a break. Before that though, mysterious events are happening around Easton, which sets up the tension even more. But all in all, we're getting more of this anime's strong point; the action.
It's all action this episode, we get not only one, but two fight scenes in a row. The main character and his rival-turned-friend had their moment to showcase their combat prowess as well as their strategic thinking. Still, some of their enemies seem more ominous than they look.
Great ending for Season 1. A lot of things will happen for sure on the next season. Mash with his absurd strength always saves the day in a magic world where magic must be the one saving it 🤣. Friends or enemies are always dumbfounded when facing Mash is absolutely hilarious 🤣.
I feel like their skills and everything they're doing could kill someone, but it turns out they're always fine after the fight for the sake of their talk-no-jutsu 🤣. Logic is gone, so no thinking is needed 🤣. The fight turns out to be good and didn't disappoint at all 🤣.
This episode is better than Episode 9. Dot gets some character development and looks cooler than usual. The battle scenes are similar, but it’s a gag show, so it doesn’t matter because they focus more on cartoonish comedy than on realistic fights.
Kinda disappointed with the fight scenes. There’s too much talking, and they feel unrealistic. They didn’t even try to make them feel more natural, which really kills the hype. The comedy is still there, but it’s predictable, so it loses some of its impact.
Our musclehead MC and his friends celebrate their victory against Abel Walker, but are interrupted by an unknown character who was searching for something in the Academy.
