Yup holy damn, One of the best episode on this season, This was the climax on the Maribel arc. The battle was animated smoothly, also the end was sad. Some tears were shed but yeah. SHOULD WATCH EPISODE!!!!

Now that I think about it, we haven't had a proper spotlight for Yuuki until this episode. I'd say this is a huge payoff and I'm very satisfied :D

Action-packed episode with amazing turn of events! Really kept me at the edge of my seat the entire time, especially with how the narrative turned out

The action scenes are lit af. It was so intense from the start but there are a few comedic scenes to tone it down. Also, that last part was a big plot twist. That part surely caught me off guard.

The scenes were incredibly fluid, with small details here and there, but it's really understandable considering the quality they maintained in the episode's climax. In general It was good to see some difficulty on Rimuru's path, in addition to the application of logic in combat. Overall, an excellent episode; it handled the pacing very well, starting strong and then going for a soft end

In the manga, this episode covers ch 128-129, It's the most awaited reality check on Mariabell and seeing her reaction was priceless 😘👌. While there are some slight differences between the anime and the manga, they don't affect the story in any way. One of Rimuru's fight scenes was even better than its manga counterpart. I was really impressed by the quality of the animation in that scene.

It’s finally time for the anticipated battle between Rimuru and Maribel of Greed. Who can win? One of the strongest Demon Lords or the girl with the greatest greed of them all? With this episode with have the long awaited conflict that we’ve been all waiting for, and while it may not live to all expectations, it is another solid episode that bring us even closer to the mid season climax.

EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off 'Investigating the Ruins,' where Rimuru's camp surfaces critical intelligence, this episode pivots from discovery to confrontation — shifting the season's energy toward the strategic clash between Rimuru and the ambitious Mariabell Rosso. It marks a turning point where gathered information starts translating into power moves, raising the stakes considerably for whoever blinks first. What unfolds here is clearly designed to set dominoes in motion for the conflicts and alliances the back half of the season will deliver.
